Safety issue
A fantastic location.
You are allocated pitches, prime ones on grass and overlooking the river.
These pitches are separated by a thin burnt line in the grass, no separation area. On booking in you are asked to locate your van in the centre of the pitch and this is reiterated ( all be it in very small writing ) on the given leaflet.
In theory you could have caravans pitched up with only inches between them, if one or both choose to.
Whilst there we did notice that other vans had been pitched off centre, in one instance vans a few feet apart.
When asked re the accepted 6 metre gap between units, management shrugged shoulders stating "We ask them to pitch in the middle"
Needless to say the above units remained in there few feet apart, potentially compromising each others health and safety. Assuming both did not worry about safety.
Seems the management, yes friendly enough, condone the unsafe pitching by people who do not care or cannot read.
