Best site yet

Stayed at Lucksall for Easter, where do we start? The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, escorted to the pitch by a warden on a bike and then proceeded to guide us on....fabulous! Cafe had good food and a good choice of ciders! The chicken curry was excellent and good value. Site was clean and tidy. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous Easter Break

We spent our Easter Break at Lucksall, arriving lunch time on Good Friday. We were met on the driveway by staff, who directed us to our pitch - hardstanding with ehu. Perfectly located, not too close to toilet blocks, but close enough when you need to go in the night! Facilities were immaculate, with signage encouraging visitors to maintain the standards. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and very apologetic when the wifi wasn't up to standard (due to the site being full to the rafters). Such a lovely location, right by the river, with a fabulous cafeteria, serving hot/cold food, great value for money, overlooking the riverside and dogs were made very welcome, bonus! I'd recommend this site to anyone looking for peace & quiet (apart from the early morning cockerel!) and wanting chill out time, the wonderful woodland across the road was a great walk with the dog. We will definitely be returning later in the year.

First time but not the last!

Just back from our early season stay at Lucksall. Lovely welcome and excellent site. Hereford Cathedral is well worth a visit and take your walking boots as a number of walks directly from the site. Ross on Wye very close and some great shops. Work on the site cafe when we were there but this site is clean, smart and really cared for. Sure we will return

Lovely

Stayed here on their first open weekend of the season. Cracking location next to the river Wye, nice dog walking routes in and around the site. Kids loved the park. Short drive to Hereford. Lovely facilities, will be visiting again.

Great site

Just back from a three night stay. Lovely site, huge pitch for the motorhome and tow car. Facilities were some of the best we have seen, warm and spotlessly clean. Very friendly wardens, well stocked shop, pity the cafe was being refurbished but that did not detract from a very enjoyable few days.

Well Worth A Visit

We went here in October 2014 for 3 nights. Wee broke down on our way there and we're recovered to the site. We were a late arrival and the staff and owners were then when we arrived and put the caravan on the pitch whilst the car was taken to a garage.  It is a beautiful site with short dog walks for the ablutions and loads of other walks nearby, down the river or into the woods across the road.  The facilities are kept very clean and we really liked the Cafe and Bar where we could take the dog in with a view over the river.  The only downside was no local shops and the nearest pub was a fair walk away.  Well worth a visit.
