Small and quiet.

Lovely quiet site with limited pitches. No phone signal and very limited 4g WiFi connection, so impossible to pre book a table in either of the 2 local pubs in the nearest village of Weobley. TV reception was fine. Very clean and well looked after. Kevin and Gail very pleasant and helpful. The crow scarer in adjacent farmer's field going off all day upset our dog a bit.

Great site for peace and quiet and lovely walks

We arrived and check in easily done with Gail who directed us to our site. Pitch was slightly uneven but not a problem with ramps. Hook up available and facilities were clean but some out of order, not fault of site as they put notice up to say when being repaired. There were lovely walks and I cycled locally too, all from the site which was ideal, our Motorhome wouldn’t start on our departure but Gail and partner (I’m sorry forgotten his name) we’re both lovely and reassured us not to worry about still being on pitch as knew I was waiting for breakdown. Their customer service was impeccable and reassuring as I was stressed at this point wondering how long breakdown recovery would take. We were 6 hours late leaving the site but we happily were able to drive out of the site not be towed which was a bonus and we were able to carry on with our holiday. I’d definitely recommend this site for peace, walks and friendliness of staff. Keep up the good work.

Missed the train but found the Location!

Another little gem. Some people will moan about the lack of WI-FI, poor phone reception and slightly iffy TV reception. Some people just don’t understand what this site is about! Peace, tranquillity, unwind, relax. None of these need WI-FI, TV or phone. The site was, as always, extremely loved and well kept. Most pitches have a little incline built in but no problem. The WC block, a little dated, but exceptionally clean. The wardens provide the "human touch", us crazy campers the light-heartedness. Ask them to tell you about the mature campers who had an electrical issue!! You can laugh, but it or something similar will happen to you one day. P.s. the TV reception is OK just remember to retune your TV to the new location, our personal WI-FI dongle worked... just and the phone had a singnal, we just did not tell the family, :-) . Limited tech and an early night without TV is no bad thing. My wife wanted to rebook for the following weekend and she is hard to please!!

Fantastic Site & Lovely Wardens

This was our first stay on the site. Beautiful location and fabulous wardens, nothing was too much trouble. The site is kept beautiful, there are some great walks directly from site. We can definitely recommend and we will return. We had a lovely meal at The Salutation pub, the food was fantastic with a lovely personal service.

Lovely Quiet Site

Beautiful, clean site in a quiet area just a short bus ride from Hereford. Hosts on site (Kev & Gail) absolutely superb - couldn't do enough to accommodate us.

First timers

This was our first time at a club site, and we were impressed. Lovely clean and peaceful site. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Lots of places to visit nearby, and plenty of walks. We will certainly love to revisit.

It was the wardens that made it for us

To keep it brief We think the grass pitches on the left side as you go in are better as they get the sunshine. We had no phone or data signal and no WiFi A view would improve the site no end The shower block is in desperate need of an update - only 2 showers in the gents, only take things in to the shower that you don’t mind getting soaked there are no shower curtains the water pressure is fantastic but your clothes and shoes get soaked. The dog walk is a 20m dead end our dogs felt cheated, Our new awning was covered in Elderberry juice stains ….. Loved the owls at night Excellent farm shop £££ !

Caravan beginners

We were absolute beginners to touring and had borrowed a caravan and awning and taken our three dogs for a 4 night stayat this site. It was just what we needed, the site managers were so helpful and friendly and offered us lots of good advice about what to look for when we bought our own caravan and which sites were dog friendly. The site itself was lovely, everywhere was so well maintained and the showers were great, lots of hot water, plenty of space and absolutely spotless. The area is beautiful with plenty to see, and wonderful wildlife - apple orchards, red kits and buzzards and the night time owls. We had a lovely time and will definitely be going back.

Excellent Moorhampton site

Our first full season of touring and we booked this site earlier in the year having previously visited Herefordshire and liking the quiet beauty and splendour of the county. The site is in a lovely peaceful location and to us is exactly the right size to enjoy some company if that's your thing, but equally small enough for quiet and privacy. We were offered any available pitch on arrival by the friendly wardens as there was plenty of availability. Having just changed our van this was our first outing and on our first night we managed to blow a charger unit fuse. With some investigation into the wiring diagrams we enquired about the nearest place to buy spare fuses to be told we need look no further than the friendly wardens' van. What a genuinely helpful offer which we took advantage of and had the electrics back up and running in no time. If cycling is your thing there are good 50k routes which can be put together mainly avoiding the fast A roads but beware of farm traffic. There are a couple of walking routes from the site and a short drive in the direction of the attractive black and white village of Woebley (visit recommended) opens up other opportunities. We visited the Three counties Autumn show during our stay and the trip to the Malverns is relatively straight forward through some picturesque countryside. In the evening all we needed to do was sit back, relax and listen to the local Tawny owl population. We would highly recommend this site and can't thank the friendly wardens enough for their help. Hoping to be back next season.
