We recommend for first-time visitors a trip to the Tallisker distillery at Carbost, taking the A87 and A863. For motorhomers, a tip - pass the Tallisker car park and park loch-side in the public car park just beyond on the right. This will give you more space to park and an easy walk up the hill to the sea-food shop, offering freshly cooked produce and a bothy with spectacular views in which to eat.
