What a wonderful setting

Stayed 3nights here, what a lovely location. We needed to do our laundry, and for a site this size, more than 1 washer and dryer would be more helpful. Mayber also a iron and board, especially I would think for visitors in tents. However this would not stop us visiting again as the location is superb.

Gorgeous Scenery

Stayed at this site for 3 nights and could have happily stayed longer.  Friendly, welcoming wardens. Gorgeous scenery all around the site and local area. Excellently placed for visits to the Isle of Skye and Highlands. Being woken up by the arrival of the Rescue helicopter at 6am was one of the highlights. It was very exciting to see it up close.  I'll be back for a return visit for sure.

Grwat place to unwind

Location was amazing, staff really friendly and helpful and place was clean and tidy. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others (although not too many or we might have trouble getting a plot next time we want one!!).  Thank you for making our stay so pleasant, even the Coastguard Helicopter coming into the Mountain Rescue Centre next door twice in one morning- 1st being 6am, nor the rain did anything to dampen spirits.

Toller Platz für Ausflüge rundum / Great place for excursions around

Tolle Wardens.

On our trip to Scotland we have been here for several days and have trips to the Isle of Skye, and all side streets made all around. Great landscapes and thevery fortunate that in Applecross was just a Highland Games. That was fun and we really enjoyed it. Who wants to travel to this region, has a very good starting point here in Morwich. By the way, here we ate the best brown bread. It is offered directly at the campsite. Great Wardens.

One of the best!

Having stayed at Morvich for many years we have yet to be disappointed, even when the wind and rain have howled up Loch Duich! A wonderfully peaceful site, always spotless, and without exception the most fabulous wardens. An excellent base to visit Glenelg, Applecross and many other places from, and some great walks including those to the Falls of Glomach and Gleann Lichd. Make sure that you head to the butchers in Kyle of Lochalsh as their Lorne sausage is first class!

Loved It

We loved it.   We have a 14 and 19 year old.   We needed a holiday site that was fine for us to be together, but was nice and quiet too, due to a family bereavement.   And we got what we needed.   We loved it.   Boys got internet through wifi but also if u are on EE, u get 3G. Can't say about other networks.    The scenery is fantastic, absolutely brilliant.    U are not far for visiting Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye.    Facilities on site are well maintained, and very clean.    Really well kept.    The birds u see are so fine, species we don't see at home.    People are really friendly, not only staff, but visitors too.    Walking dogs there are plenty walks, mine loved it there.   If u want to go for a meal there is the Jacobite Restaurant, it is brilliant, great service and brilliant food, highly recommended.  We went for a few drives, and u will love the scenery, the pub up at Glenelg is really good too, and very friendly.  I would go back here in a flash.

Beautiful peaceful location

We stayed here on our way to Skye, and found the usual high standard of facilities. The surroundings are stunning, despite the midges, and extremely peaceful. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful, with the shop selling locally made bread amongst other things. Our only criticism of the site is that the area designated "Pitch without awning" (which we had pre-booked) could do with a little more landscaping to break up the long straight line. In future we would book "Pitch with awning" because there was more choice and the areas were much more attractive.

Recent stay

Just spent 6 nights at Morvich from 29th June the weather wasn't to good. The site has excellent views from most areas of the site of the mountains. Site was well maintained and the wardens always looked busy and had time to talk . The site is not geared to young families as no play area this is the only reason I've marked it down otherwise its and excellent site for walking the hills etc and would certainly recomend a visit

Back to its best

Just back from a fortnight's holiday on this site. The wardens have this site back to its best with some nice touches of flowers and hand cream in the toilets. In spite of the poor weather, the wardens always seemed to be busy on the site and were very helpful and approachable without being over fussy. This site is without doubt one of the jewels in the crown of Caravan Club sites , but if we had any criticism (constructive I hope) it would be that the toilet and shower block could do with a makeover. In terms of location however this site and Bunree are hard to beat.
