Could be they are having or had problems with members not thinking that 1300 arr time does not mean us

What is the problem with the wardens enforcing the arrival time? It’s what I would expect. 

If members do not turn up before the allocated arrival time I cannot see what the problem is. Surely a visual notice is the right thing to do. I am sure that wardens have had problems with argumentative members  turning up early in the past. The same type of arrangement applies also at Chatsworth and seems to be working fine there.

Signs posted making it clear not to arrive before 1pm and if you do, turn around and go away. Same on telephone when booking.

C&CC sites now appear to have a notice at reception saying "pitches are not available until 1pm today" (or something very similar ) although, as we found recently that's not written in tablets of stone. If the wardens are prepared to be flexible, having been contacted about a slightly early arrival, then fair enough, otherwise stick to the advertised time.

We seem to be getting more and more complaints from folk who have not been able to get "special treatment" just lately.
