Beautiful site
Brilliant site - toilet block kept immaculate - wardens very friendly and helpful - this was our first stay at Ramslade - we are keeping our caravan in the secure storage facility- looking forward to the new season!

Lovely clean site, good children's play area .
Our pitch was great but did notice some were sloping. We will visit again when back in Devon.

Capital Experience
A really good site, well done to the staff who worked tirelessly making sure that the facilities were as good as they could be. The pitches were excellent and the location is fine, whilst we were at Modbury we decided to go and look at the approach road following reviews saying that it was narrow, it was fine a lot wider than the approach lane to Modbury. If you are not sure of the approach road then take my advice go and enjoy the site and surrounding areas it is well worth your while.
Two Weeks of Fun! :)
What a fantastic site - a hidden gem. We stayed two weeks here and had a lot of fun. The approach to the site has a typical country lane (mainly two way traffic with lines in middle!) Once there, what a site! Fantastic views everywhere you look. A fabulous children's play area ( we even had a play on this ourselves as we stayed out of season!) We visited Paignton, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Brixham and Exeter. This is a great site for all these locations. Very clean and tidy site and shower blocks. Very good WiFi. (Not so good mobile network telephone connection!) The site team were great. As we celebrated a birthday here, we had some post and a parcel delivered to the site. Remember though this site is Paignton Road, Totnes though the postcode stays the same. A really wonderful site, we hope to stay again! :)

Great site, in spite of minor issues
Let me be blunt - we love Ramslade (that's why we store here and visit 3-4 times each year). The site is immaculately maintained, grass, toilet blocks etc. Spotlessly clean. Great staff, really helpful and friendly. OK, there are a couple of issues; TV reception,especially BBC1 is sometimes iffy with picture and sound break-up, mobile phone coverage is patchy at best so tricky to book things like restaurants, ferries etc. Not sure what the club can actually do about either of these, but perhaps a point for future visitors to note.

Great site, shame about the technical problems!
This was our second visit to a pleasant site handy for visiting relatives in Paignton as well as exploring the area. Excellent welcome and facilities as ever, but for us technophiles there were too many issues which spoiled our stay. Mobile phone signal is adequate, but the data signal very poor - so we renewed our wifi subscription for the week. Although we were sited near to a wifi point, service varied from adequate to poor, making it frustrating to use and even difficult to complete the time-consuming task of signing in and out with our various devices. That bandwidth is limited at this stage of development is understandable, but that the service is not fit for purpose is inexcusable. Second issue: TV reception was poor where we were pitched, so we bought a cable to plug into the TV booster. Unlike our next site, there was no HD signal - why not? - but this would have been acceptable had the SD signal been consistent. Sadly, most BBC1 programmes were ruined by frequent picture break-up. If these things matter to you, go elsewhere until the Club remedies these deficiencies!

Nice site,shame about wifi
As usual at Ramslade first class service from all the wardens,the site beautifully maintained,grass all around the site virtually manicured to perfection including children's play area and sports field,dog walking area a pleasure to use.Chip van visits twice a week and highly recommended,local bus service stops outside the gates,all in all a great site to base yourself in Torbay.Pity the £25 annual fee for WiFi was often a waste here as quite frequently it was unobtainable! Still a great site.
Lovely site
This is our second visit to Ramslade and we have not been disappointed, we love the peace and quiet of the site even though it's convenient for Paignton, Torquay, Brixham and Totnes. The shower blocks are clean but could do with updating with showers that are a bit more than a dribble! The broadband is very slow and keeps logging out even though we have paid for 12 months, this is an absolute pain and totally unnecessary!
