Exceptional Service

A beautifully clean and well organised site but our praise will focus on the fantastic service we received from the wardens when we had a couple of worrying problems initially with our MH but then unfortunately, with our dog. Ian, the warden helped us to resolve our technical issue but then later and more worryingly our dog became very unwell and he quickly provided us with the information we needed to get her treated on an emergency basis by a local vet and she is now fully recovered.. He was so attentive and supportive during what was for us was a very stressful time, we were extremely grateful for his help and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this site and we will certainly return. Thanks again.

A Peaceful Corner.

This is a very spacious, level site with large individual pitches. It is also very quiet and peaceful, with plenty of visiting wild life. The serviced pitches are particularly good. All the facilities are excellent, and kept in pristine condition. We were there in a period of continual wind, but were surprised at the degree of shelter on the site. An excellent dog walk is accessed from the site, as are walks in the neighbourhood. There is a store at the nearby fuel station. A slight disadvantage of the site is that there are no cafes or pubs within easy walking distance. You can expect a warm and friendly welcome from the site staff who are committed to the maintenance of the site and to making sure you have a pleasurable break.

Peaceful bliss

Such a fabulous site, peace and quiet and in a most gorgeous position in the Breamish Valley. Lots and lots of lovely walks from the site. We loved it so much in March we booked to go back in May. Branton Lakes lie just behind the site for a nature filled level walk, or head along the river Breamish, climb the rolling hills for some gorgeous views of totally unspoilt countryside or walk along the old railway line. There is probably the best dog walk we have come across, which also forms a nature trail with bird hide over the lake and has access to the river. The site is very clean and tidy with a well resourced information area.and the staff so welcoming. We could not fault the facilities. We are already looking to return as soon as we can.

First visit

This is a lovely site, we had a warm welcome from staff . The site is very well looked after and like all caravan and motorhome club sites which we have visited was lovely and clean. Pitches are very spacious, and their is a great dog walk on site along the river, if you want to go a little further there is a longer walk around two lakes next to site. We did the circular walk to Ingram cafe (dog friendly)which was very scenic following the river, with the reward of coffee and cake sitting outside in the cafes courtyard. We will certainly return.

First visit to this superb site

What a peaceful and well maintained site, just returned from a 5 night stay in this fabulous area with this site being perfectly placed to visit the attractions in Northumberland. The wardens were always smiling, helpful and friendly ... a credit to the club. Some great walks and mountain bike routes straight out of the site. Definitely going to return for more.

A piece of heaven

I love this site, it so peaceful, location is great for us and I feel so relaxed when I am here. Staff are always friendly with us and we always get a warm welcome. I think this is a great safe site for the children, and a lovely place for them to let their hair down and be free. It great for a base to go out visiting or the opposite to just sit and chill with a glass of wine.

A great little hide away

From arrival to departure we had a great break. The site is set in a quiet tranquil area near the river Breamish and definitely matches the Club description. Pitches are well maintained and spaced out which adds to the fabulous sense of peace and tranquility. Onsite facilities are all very well equipped and well maintained by the staff, so a pleasure to use. The 4 site staff were excellent and very helpful, with great local knowledge and helpful suggestions. In addition, the on-site visitor information room was well stocked with lots of really useful information to help make the most of the visit. The site is ideal for a relaxing getaway and with the nearby nature reserve and excellent walks it is great for unwinding, plus for dog owners it is ideal. However, for those wanting to travel a little further afield, there is plenty to do for all ages groups. This site was a real find and within 90 minutes of our home and we enjoyed it so much, we have already rebooked for another break in May.

Relaxing beautiful surroundings

Very good first impression clean tidy with friendly helpful staff, always had time to say hello and offer their knowledge of the area. Facilirties block was top notch cleaned daily and it seemed throughout the day it was checked as never saw any litter. Lovely walks round the nature reserve and the along the river. Easy access to the main roads for visitng places. Chip van was a god send as we drove for 6 hours and didn't want to cook/go back out on our first night. Would definately recommend and go back if in the area,

Great week 🥰 .

We had a fantastic week at the Breamish Valley site, we have a 4 year old daughter and there is plenty to keep the kids busy. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel super welcome, one of the wardens is a chap from Kent who doesn’t stop smiling and my daughter fondly knows him as Mr Lollipop as he gave her a little lollipop on her arrival . Just want to say thank you to him for what he did this week, a lovely gesture on our last day .. and wish him and his wife all the best and hope you keep enjoying it .. loads to do and the Breamish valley is a hidden gem , watch out for the Adders ! 😂

Stunning setting

Can't fault the cleanliness, staff and facilities. Stunning setting with brilliant cycle routes easy accessible.. Nice local pubs and good lake walk for nature lovers. Only down side is on the fully serviced section you are constantly used as a cycle track by all the children on site as its a circular road. Unfortunately I forsee an accident occurring at some point as on some days as many as 12 kids were racing around the vans at high speeds. Maybe not the best area for couples.
