Not for us

Couldn't fault the up keep of the site or the hard working wardens but that road noise is horrendous and night times with the constant gun shots from car exhausts made the site one we wouldn't return to. On the plus side we were able to visit all the places we wanted to see and all the retail parks and supermarkets are all within walking distance.

Amazingly well kept site let down by one thing.....

We arrived at the site for a long weekend away as a family. The Staff were amazing and the site is lovingly well-kept. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending the site to anyone else due to the road noise. Most evenings and nights were spent listening to the local car and bike 'enthusiasts' 'testing' their cars around the roundabout, repeatedly!

TipTop Site

One of the top sites in the UK and I have visited over 20. Spotless facilities and great location. Nice big pitches. There is no shop on site, but within walking distance of Superstores and take aways and others like Pets at Home and Matalan. I can't express how helpful and friendly the wardens were, Kay and Rick, they are always about and the grounds, landscaping and spotless facilities are a credit to them. There is also a laundry. And some great walks in the lovely nature reserve and surrounding country paths. Good pubs nearby, especially The Fountain, for good pub grub. And a zig-zaggy route through the estates right to Bognor Beach, which is excellent too. Only issue, which didn't really both us, is the roads on two sides of the site are very busy and there seems to be a "loudest exhaust competition' going on most evenings! But just crank up the music and enjoy this tiptop site. Thank you. I will be back.

Exceptional site staff and facilities

This has become a firm favourite and a regular stay. It is extremely well run and superb welcome and support from Site supervisors Lisa and Steve. Very clean and well managed by this couple and the other site staff. Very close to the town and lots to do here. Excellent for dogs as the nature reserve is literally next door. A real gem.

Clean and well kept small site

Located off main A road next to roundabout and noisy if roadside at night, but great if you want fast food/ DIY/supermarkets etc as next to retail parks. Would say not really for kids as no play area and walk into Bognor is via 40mins ish dual carriage way, which is safe but dull. Also has cycle path. However buses do run into town from close by and if have a car, it could be a good base. Nice park with cafe about 25mins walk away. Super clean site. Super friendly staff. Info pack given on arrival. Didn’t use ‘localish’ pubs as went into Bognor. Lovely walk Bognor to Pagham along beach which is part of coast path. Dog walk at site into nature reserve but didn’t check out. It is possible to set up on quieter side of park away from road, but we didn’t mind road noise. We found stay perfect as wanted quick break nearish the sea.

Amazing Stay

We arrived at Rowan Park on Monday 3rd July 2023 for a 4 night stay. The wardens, Lisa and Steve greeted us as if we were old friends. The reception was clean and welcoming. The facilities were kept exceptionally clean and having the unisex toilets available during cleaning times is a bonus. Unfortunately we suffered 3 minor mishaps during our stay, firstly the door handle came off the motorhome toilet door, then the booster cable box wouldn't open and worst of all we locked ourselves out of our motorhome. What we would have done without the help of Steve and Lisa cannot be put into words. They went above and beyond in helping us on all 3 occasions, best of all, Steve managed to unlock the motorhome without breaking a window, damaging the locks or cause any damage whatsoever. So a BIG THANK YOU to Steve and Lisa. We will be back, we will try not to cause any more problems, so see you soon.

Well recommend

What a lovely well kept site. Lovely clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly full of knowledge nothing was too much trouble. Lady at reception welcomed us will a smile very pleasant. Visited reception for some info full of information saw lady out on cleaning duties even cleaning the guttering of cobwebs. Left early before office was open and put barrier pass through letterbox lady opened office and said thank you thanks for staying with us and have a safe journey. Which was a lovely. Sorry did not know lady's name. Will be adding this to one of our favourite places to revisit. Staff work Really hard to keep site well maintained keep up the good work it is appreciated.

Very nice!!

Stayed here for the first time whilst helping our granddaughter move after finishing uni. Very clean and pleasant site. A little bit of road noise but not obtrusive and certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment. We had a hard standing pitch very close to the toilet block, allocated as my wife is in a wheelchair. With hindsite we might have gone for a grass pitch as the fine gravel on the hardstanding was a bit of a pain to wheel across, again not a major issue. The facilities in the disabled bathroom were first class, some hotels could learn a thing or two! Overall an excellent site! Neil and Carol....

Lovely friendly site

Fantastic staff at this lovely site. Lisa & Steve are so very welcoming, they do their utmost to make you feel at home and to help wherever they can. Best site staff I have ever came across and I have been doing this for over 20 years. Kay & Rick also very helpful when I needed help, they took the time and sorted my problem. The site is lovely, the facilities are immaculate, thanks to the hard working staff. Loads to do and lovely places to visit from the site, it really is in a great location. Close to Bognor Regis sea front, a visit into Littlehampton will take you to a lovely beach, half of which is dog friendly. Close to Chichester, well worth a visit as is Hayling Island. Portsmouth is the closest city and it is a beautiful one. All in all a very lovely holiday. Thank you again to Lisa & Steve and also to Kay & Rick. Looking forward to returning to this lovely site.
