Overnight stop

This was an ideal site for our overnight stop on the way back to Worthing. The wardens were welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Slinfold

Nice small site on site of old railway. Site staff very friendly and helpful. Pitches towards far end of site not as good as others and some noise from factory during early morning. Good walks from site and pub nearby within walking distance.

Good Find

Nice site, not too big to be impersonal. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful if needed. Very quiet except for the acorns falling on the roof quite a lot. An acceptable noise. Facilities are good and all kept in good order. We have used it a few times now and its great for getting around.

Visiting again

Once again a pleasant visit to this site. Lack of facilities is no problem with a modern van. Very helpful wardens and altogether recommended.

Great place to relax

Am camped here at the moment and would like to voice my appreciation to the volunteers that keep this site open. It is a lovely well kept site great place to relax, the lack of facilities does not detract from making it one of the best sites I have stayed on. It's a shame that there isn't an appreciation gratuity box in reception as I would definitely have put my hand in my pocket to show mine

weekend break

Lovely place to stay. Nice helpful wardens. We had a nice walk along the downs link perfect for dog walkers. TV reception was poor as it mentions but overall I would recommend this place

Lovely site

We spent 6 nights here, visiting family. Lots of walks nearby, lovely pub within walking distance, extremely friendly and helpful wardens. We were opposite the factory, mentioned in previous reviews, and we couldn't hear it! Will visit again.

I'll be back!

Having read some previous reviews on this site, I did wonder what I was going to find.  The road up to the site is tight and the overgrown greenery, could've done with a bit of pruning, but as you turn and enter, you are transferred to a wonderful place. The site staff, although volunteers, are so friendly - professional - generally "great guys" nothing is too much trouble and they even took the time to advise on pitching up without undermining my confidence.  I found tv reception very good on the pitch I was on, in fact I'd say even better than I've found on some boosted sites.  The bridalway, that was the old railtract makes a great place to stretch those legs and to get around.  This is one of those places where you could stay for longer and can hear yourself promising to return.

Hidden Gem

What a delightful site. So well cared for and staff so helpful. Being placed directly on the Downs Link means plenty of cycling without traffic and many other walking paths. There are no showers or toilets on the site, but this is made quite clear and the price reflects this. We visited Guilford and Horsham on the bus. Would not hesitate to visit again.
