Stover March 2015

As club members for more than 20 years we have visited very many club sites. We have been "regulars" at Stover for a number of years since finding this gem of a site. Easy to get to, close to town and country, even Sidmouth is only 40 minutes away by an excellent road network. Loads to see and do, just check out the places to eat in the file kept in the information office. Stover Golf Club is opposite and well worth a visit for snacks or a Sunday Roast. Please dont tell anyone else. We want to be able to get in again this year!

Easter at Stover

We have just returned from 9 nights at Stover Club Site. The access via the A38 is exceptional. The location for people visiting the Torbay area of Devon superb. The Wardens are very nice people and take pride in their well managed and manicured site. The site was spotlessly clean. Whilst the site does not have a toilet block that is not a disadvantage to caravanner's with full facilities in their vans. We shall most definitely return.

Easter break

The access to this site is fantastic straight off the A38 and then the site is on the left great if you are worried about towing down small roads . We arrived Friday lunch to a lovely welcome from the site manager who gave lots of tips and advice on which were the best pitches to choose . We were a little dubious of the no toilet/ shower block but Infact it was fine and just our on board facilities . The park is situated next to Stover country park and has lots of walks in the park and off great for walkers and great if you have a dog also not far from Dartmoor and Newton Abbot the site was very clean and tidy a credit to the managers . A fish &  chip van visits on a Friday evening highly recommended. The road is quite busy but we did not notice any really bad road noise  ,Trago mills is across the road and also a co op supermarket .i would say this site is more suited to couples or couples with young children as there is no play area but on the other hand Stover country park would keep everyone happy   We will definetly visit again soon
