Spacious pitch, but a bit 'tweaky' to back our big van on due to fencing opposite - choose carefully (we envy you your motor mover). Yes, there's road noise at top of site, but we sleep the sleep of the just, and on the up side south pitch facing meant sun all afternoon and evening. Good TV and phone reception. Wifi hit and miss (doesn't bother us, just for info.). Facilities good, clean and plentiful hot showers. Nice children's play area (again, not a concern of ours, but like to see kids catered for). Lovely walks from the site, did a circular taking in Deepdale nature reserve and really enjoyed seeing the flowers, birds and deer we came across. Had fish and chips from the van on the Wed eve and they were very nice. Barnard Castle was a very nice little market town with the best hardware shop ever. If they don't have it, you don't need it!
