Lovely Site
Spent two days here on our way to the northumberland coast. Wardens very helpful , spotlessly clean site. Brilliant dog walk in a lovely adjacent field. The flower beds on the site need some tlc, have been planted with shrubs and trees and just left which is such a shame, wardens could do with some help. Walk to Barnard Castle along quite a busy road, but we walked through the nature reserve which is next to the site and it brings you out to opposite the bridge with lovely walks either way along the river.
