Teesdale Barnard Castle
Spent three nights here travelling from south to north. Lovely site but subject to brisk winds making awning/canopy use difficult. Wardens were very friendly and helpful and a good source of local information. Noise from the nearby road did not intrude on our stay. Local town was great, plenty of eating, drinking and interesting buildings. Facilities within the site were outstanding and well cared for. Having visited would return when in that area.
