My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, even the inclement weather could not dampen our enjoyment of this lovely site and area. Barnard Castle is approximately a 15 min walk, the town had enough shops and pubs to suit most tastes. The caravan site facilities were spot on, the shower block and toilet's were so warm from the underfloor heating, my glasses steamed up each time I went in. The wardens were very helpful. The pitches are big. The site is just about perfect, one slight downside, the upper level pitches are a little noisy from passing traffic. A lovely holiday with great walks in beautiful countryside.
