Great site for city shopping

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the middle of October mainly to explore Cardiff. Great site and well situated to get to the Park and Ride car park in Cardiff. The site is immaculately kept and the toilets and showers were so clean and warm. The staff were friendly and informative. Only downside which has been mentioned before is the road noise from the motorway. Always in the background. Asda is about a 20 minute walk away. However, all in all a very relaxing stay and we will return to explore further.

Long Weekend for the Rugby!

We stayed for the weekend of the Rugby World Cup Quarter finals. The site was perfect for a quick cab drive in and out of Cardiff. The only down side to the site is the noise from the M4, but you get used to that. We brought the dogs with us and the park was lovely to walk them in. The site was immaculate, the showers and loos (whatever time of day) were spotless and everything seemed really well cared for. The site Wardens were extremely friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to staying there again. Thank you.

Stunning Country Park location

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the middle of October.  The site is a nice size (about 80 pitches) and the facilities were spotless, there is everything you need on site and the fact that it is located within a National Trust country park is an added bonus, the park was also really well maintained and the walks around the park were lovely. The location was convenient for travelling around the South Wales area, we really enjoyed visiting and will use the site again. The only slight negative was the road noise from  the nearby M4, however, that is only becouse we were sleeping in an awning, we soon got used to it!

Best ever

Recently visited this site and what a joy it was. We brought our Motorhomes from Cornwall to South Wales to allow us to visit a family member in hospital, the warden at reception was wonderful to us and immediately put us at ease. The site so well cared for it was a pleasure to be there. To break the hospital visits there was lots to do, Tredegar Park House and grounds are lovely and very interesting. Transport was excellent, local pub food good and good value, large supermarket near. Thank you very much.

Wardens are very kind. They speak slowly because I 'm french and I don't understand at the forĂȘt answer. They find solution when we asked a question. The showers are always clean, It's really a nice place

Fabulous site

Stayed here last week for 3 nights...have to say Jim and Lisa the wardens were so helpful...nothing was too much trouble. They worked non stop. The site was immaculate and the facilities were absolutely spotless. Very peaceful. Will definitely be back there soon.

Excellent Site

Stayed twice to visit Cardiff. Cant fault the site at all. Very well maintained, clean, tidy, good facilities. All the staff were friendly and always happy to help. Short walk to Asda, Fish and Chip Shop (excellent fish and chips) and a local shop, buses are close by also.

Lots of beautiful walks around the site and Tredegar House is well worth a visit.

Stunning location

I stayed here early October - as a Caravan Park it is much like any other. I was in a Motorhome so didn't use any of the facilities but the site appeared well run and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. The real win for this site is the location - it is beautiful. Long rambly walks around the lake, or a visit to the house, or a 20 minute drive to a Wentwood forest. I will definitely return.

Wonderful, but...

Absolutely faultless due to facilities, location, house, and adjacent pub and shops. Only down side is that (as in all CC sites I've used) water taps are few in number - in a MH you have to make endless trips with watering can or disconnect everything and drive to tap - ludicrous!
