Set in a fantastic location to explore all of west Cornwall, the site is on a working farm. Despite having a large American RV, access was not a problem with waste disposal behind the main building. I was allocated a great space at the top of the main field with no manoeuvring problems at all by a very friendly and welcoming lady on reception. In fact, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Well-stocked shop with lots of local and fresh produce, if an erratic and disparate pricing approach on various items ! Café/restaurant which has good, basic food including cooked breakfasts through to Sunday roasts and speciality evenings on Wednesdays. Local fishmonger visits every Monday afternoon with superb selection of items. The toilet shower block is in desperate need of full refurbishment but this is the only negative. Easy access to White Sands Bay through the farm fields and down the beach path. I will CERTAINLY be back. Loved it here.

Summer 2016 visit

We've returned again to the beautiful Cornish coastline on which Trevedra sits so there must be something special about the place that keeps our family revisiting. The reasons could be the welcoming owners and staff, the excellent facilities and well stocked shop, the restaurant, the location and as a bit of a motor person you will usually come across an unusual outfit in the non members field of interest. Further to this a brand new toilet block is planned for the 2017 season. Great stuff.

5 Night Stay

We were allocated a pitch in the members area and told exactly how to pitch. We arrived home after a day out on day 3 to find a new outfit arrived next to us uncomfortably close! The site has rules but these seem to be mainly ignored- dogs off leads, noise from one of the very close camping fields until 2am. The site was very busy, with a variety of tents, vans etc and the toilet block facilities appalling, plenty of hot water but filthy and everything, floor, walls etc wet through! The nearby beach is very nice but quite a trek. I feel this site falls very much below the clubs standard and am surprised it's part of the network.

Take care where you are pitched!

We booked in for a 7 night stay. As we have a 5th wheel rig and as a courtesy, we telephoned ahead to let the site know. A bit about our rig - it has a UK side door and give or take it’s the same size and weight as our old Auto-Trail Comanche motor home. We arrived and were 'allocated' a pitch. Registration was fast and painless. Site location was great, having great views and a close walk to a beautiful beach. The toilet/shower block was a bit 1960's, but they were always clean and had plenty of hot water. The shop on-site sold the basics and a good selection of pasties, cakes and the like. The café was a delight…with Sunday lunch being the highlight and worth booking. Back to our pitch, for some reason we were not put onto the 'Caravan Club' area of the site (a fact discovered the day we left while I was trying to figure out how we got off the site). When I asked why we weren't in the Caravan Club area, the owner said first "we were too large"…then when I pointed out we were only the size of a large UK motor home, she changed her story saying there was "no space"… despite us booking and paying on 4/1/16!!!!!) Instead we were located a pitch next to the bins and toilet block. During our stay, we found some previously unknown to us camping habits. For example, how many people throw away their glass bottles and rubbish between the hours of 1:00 am and 8:00 am. Also being in the middle of the tents (single man and family), surf rigs and transit vans , this gave us an insight into new behaviours , modern music and teenage life way into the early hours… cleaning up dog pooh on several occasions (because dogs were not on a lead - despite the signs) was also an unexpected task. IMPORTANT, if you book and you want a quiet holiday on this site, make sure to ENSURE at the time of booking that you are going on the area reserved for the Caravan Club and not the general camping area. It's a real nightmare!

July 2016 visit

Thank you Trevedra, we spent a lovely week here. The site is easily accessible by road and has fabulous views over Sennen Cove. The Reception, shop and restaurant are first class, book sunday lunch its great! Shower block is unheated and basic but clean, they clean it several times a day. However in September they are investing heavily in updating theses facilities and the plans show that it will be impressive when completed. Lands End, Minack and Porthcurno Telegraph museum are all close by. The owners Wendy and John, as well as all their staff, are extremely helpful. We are going back for sure.

Stunning Trevedra

We stayed at Trevedra Farm for 3 nights. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The pitches are a good size with plenty of room to enjoy the perfect sea view. The sunsets were incredible! We enjoyed walking into Sennen along the coast path and to Cape Cornwall, make sure you take your walking boots, amazing scenery. The cafe on site was a bonus, perfect if you don't feel like cooking. The toilet block is dated but a new one is being built for next year. Looking forward to returning soon. Thank you to all the team at Trevedra :-)

Wow!

We stayed at Trevedra Farm at the end of June. We had a fully serviced pitch, facing due west into some fabulous sunsets. This site is in such a stunning location, you can even see the outline of the Scilly Isles, 27 miles away. The staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Wendy. At the weekends, the site gets very busy especially with surfers having their well earned weekend break. Naturally, that brings with it a little extra noise. The coastal path is a short walk across the field and down the cliff path - a bit challenging walking back up after walking the path - otherwise just perfect. Loads to see and do in the area, nowhere is too far in West Cornwall. St Michaels Mount was our favourite. My only criticism is the shower block and camping toilets; the main block is quite dated so needs additional care and more frequent cleaning in particular would help. I hate to criticise such a lovely place, but I think it is a valid point. Otherwise, a lovely campsite, in a superb location, with very pleasant staff.

Proper Job!!

In over 50 years of camping in Cornwall, we have yet to find a better site. The location is perfect, the site is clean, tidy and well-managed. Wendy and John, the owners and their staff are welcoming, friendly and most helpful. They manage, with ease, that most difficult of skills; combining informality with professionalism. The improvements Wendy and John have made since they took over the site are excellent, especially the 'Ocean Blue' restaurant ( try the Sunday roast!). If its a traditional Cornish holiday with traditional Cornish hospitality you are looking for, look no further than Trevedra; you will not be disappointed.

Simply Stunning

As a family we are now on the 4th generation of members to go back to Trevedra !!!! As a working farm the facilities are great and well cared for. The staff on site are very friendly ( some CC sites we have been to we would not return to due to unfriendly staff) and go beyond to help you. The fields are well cared for and the pitches are a great size where you are not cramped onto your neighbours. The views are stunning and when you walk to the beach you could be anywhere in the world. Easy access to plenty of attractions. Who could ask for more ???

Great Location and Superb Staff!

Stayed from 3rd to 19th July. Was on Aire Point (mixed caravans / tents) with great views. Note it is exposed to the wind so you will need adequate awning tie downs! A great location for walking with access to the SW Coast Path and within 15 minute driving distance of Penzance. Using a combination of local buses and own transport during my stay I managed to walk the coast path from St Ives to Lands End and on to Penzance. Also some of the Path around the Lizard (Just under an hour away). I timed my stay to try and to avoid school holidays, and it was noticeable that on the last two evenings the site got progressively rather busier and noisier with an influx of a large group of tenting families. (I did become rather concerned one evening that the children playing ball games just in front of my caravan appeared to be largely unsupervised by their parents who seemed not to care that the ball frequently got very close to the caravans). The toilet/shower block IS rather basic and dated, and I found keeping clothes dry in the shower cubicles a bit difficult, but I never found them dirty. I only had to wait briefly on one occasion to shower, but that might be happening more frequently now that the peak season has arrived. It was noticeable that quite a few people completely disregarded the notices requesting that they mop out after showering. The shop and café are great, with just about all the essentials you might need - and much more beside - for sale. However, the biggest plus for me was the friendly and helpful staff, and Wendy, the site owner, in particular. Due to my own stupidity I managed to wait at the wrong bus stop on my second or third day, and as a result missed the bus I was supposed to catch to take me to Zennor. As there was no other public transport alternative I trudged back to the site to re-think my day, but when I told Wendy of my stupidity she dropped tools and drove me to Zennor herself, a journey of about 25 - 30 minutes, and would not accept any payment for doing so. As a result I got to Zennor only just behind the bus I should have caught - thanks again, Wendy! I was aware that several other caravanners with problems were also very grateful for the quick and friendly help they received getting things sorted. The café food was freshly prepared and very tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the (locally produced) Roast Beef dinners on the two Sundays I was there - the quality and the size of the meat portion I was given put what you get at your local 'Toby' carvery to shame! So yes, there is room for improvement in the shower/toilet facilities (which the owners are aware of and have plans to do something about), but from my point of view things if more campers and caravanners observed a few of the common courtesies towards their fellow holiday makers things would be better for everyone. However I have no reservations in saying I am definitely happy to revisit Trevedra in the future!
