Great site, so clean, staff very helpful

We had a lovely 7 days here. I'd HOPED to get a pitch on the beach side but that was fully booked so we pitched on the more main site on the other side of the road, my dissapointment didn't last long as it was so windy! The facilities were so clean, there is only 1 block for the whole of that side of the site. I saw a comment earlier from Beachside saying people from the main site were using the facilites on the beachside and yes, we were told that for some of the pitches its best to use the beachside facilties as they are actually closer and also when the facilities are closed for cleaning for an hour there is no other option but to use the beachside (unless you can use your own toilet/shower). I also saw another comment about the TV signal and I can confirm that this was upgraded while we were there so hopefully that is now sorted. We found the WiFi fine as well for browsing, emails etc obviously not for streaming. The site staff couldn't have been friendlier and they really put a lot of effort into cleaning the shower/toilet blocks, they were very fresh when they'd finished. I think we were on pitch 81 and had loads of space, its was a lovely big corner pitch (grass). if you want to go Beachside we learnt you need to book hardstanding no awning (lesson learnt). We walked to Pakefield and back on the first afternoon, the beach is AMAZING, lovely and wild and there are pubs in Pakefield for resfreshments and the only Semi-detached church in the country (and its dog friendly if you want to pop inside). Also visited Somerleyton, walked from Pakefield to Lowestoft past the new style beach huts and the new bronze statue on the beach and over the bridge and round to the most easterly point in the country by the Windmill. Also the new Kittiwake Hotels out to sea are very intersting. We also visited Southwold for their famous fish and chips and this is definitely a must do.
