Great for an overnight stop and we arrived early, which was not a problem. Very quiet and 2 dogs was no issue. Wifi rather flakey. As has been said, no toilet paper and I used disabled shower for convenience. Washing up area very clean. Indoor swimming pool looked good, but we did not use as it was very hot and it is under glass. Definitely will use again as it is so close to motorway.
great site just 4-hours from the ports
A very pleasant site in a quiet location close to the shops in the town. Small takeaway menu allows late arrival and a bite to eat. Large flat pitches, some stopovers don't even unhitch. Being at one end of the Chemin Des Dames makes it worth more than just an overnight stop
Polly trip - November 2016
We arrived in our Motorhome in the dark for a three night stay, we were the only occupants. Caroline put the site lights on, and opened the toilets, showers, laundry and plate wash room, these rooms were always warm and the water hot (as stated in a previous review about shower sensors ... Yes, fiddly, but works).
We had an issue with our gas regulator, and we had to stay another four nights, and Didier could not have been more helpful, even to the extent of looking in Reims and Laon for the part, and assisted me in fixing the problem. For dog owners, there was a good walk by the river. The local facilities (Carrefour, Bakery and garage) all very accommodating. Would recommend the site to anyone and if in the area would always use again.
very quiet
We were the only ones on the site on the first night, halve of the toilets were closed and all facilities were closed, litle bar in the town was ok but shut on the saturday night.Site is very tidy and clean ,ideal for a stop over.
Lovely quiet location
A good stopover as not far from the motorway. As we were there in October it was very quiet.
The toilet block was clean but mentioned in other reviews you need to take you own loo roll!! This is quite common in French sites.
The shower was a bit of a comedy with sensors and my husband got clothes wet but as it was so quiet I just used the disabled one which was fine.
We might use the site again as a stopover.
Lovely location.
Lovely friendly site
We only stayed one night for a stop-over as the location was convenient for avoiding travelling too close to Paris, but what a lovely site. It was very easy to find and in a lovely village. Bit of a shame about the feeble shower pressure which made long hair washing rather tedious and for a site with lots of reviews saying ‘quiet’ or ‘peaceful’ we was surprised to hear distant trains passing by.
Oct 2016
An excellent overnight stop and very convenient for the autoroute A26. We intend to stay about 3 nights in future to visit some of the interesting sights in the area. The manager and his wife could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This is the second visit this year as we have toured France/Italy and we will use again.
Lovely site
Ideal location for motorway and close to supermarket / fuel. Nice family run the place and speak English - very helpful and friendly Good size pitches - all grass but fairly flat. Reverse polarity on Electrics at some pitches we have been on
Ok for Overnight Stopover
Very friendly owners, nice pitch, very quiet. Poor shower, very feeble, only 2 ladies loos open (others seemed to be closed off) no electric point for hair dryer. Restaurant closed out of season but would cook if enough requests (we were offered Chicken and Chips at 7pm!) Bread could be ordered for breakfast. Would definitely stay again for a stopover.
Ok!
On site as writing this. Decided to use site despite recent reviews. Just wanted to say all fine, facilities are clean. However the most expensive night of our 5 week trip at 29.20€!
