We stayed at this site for several days in September. This is a ,argue site with the pitches arranged in 'avenues' The pitches are tight and a motor mover for caravans is certainly an advantage. A cycling tack at the rear of the site allows access to the centre on Benacassim. Across the road from the site is a great supermarket with all that you need and the site allows has a fitness studio with machines and free weights if that is for you.
Holiday in Sept. 2016
Just returned from 11night stay@ Bonterra Park, the weather was great, it was nice to be on a site with its own water & waste outlet. The staff were very good & food at the poolside bar was very well cooked. A supermarket is just outside the main gate,so food no problem. We would definitely go again, only downside was the walk to the beach, took around 15 min. Otherwise A1 site.
A bit cramped
We pre booked a 21 day stay from 20th August. The pitches are not large and, as the site is a couple of blocks back from the sea, does not get cooling sea breezes. Staff are very helpful, pitches are fully serviced (question over whether the water is potable, one person asked at reception and was told only to drink water from the potable water points outside the facilities blocks), and toilet blocks are kept clean. The walk to the sea front with sun beds, parasol etc down narrow streets crammed with parked cars and busy traffic was not easy. We preferred to load everything into our car and drive toward Castellon where we could park near the beach. After the main holiday season in August the site remained almost full with the arrival of long stay visitors. The overall impression is a lack of space.
4 night stay in July
This is a pleasant site in a very good location. the staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant.
The pitches seem to be a bit cramped but otherwise ok, level and well kept, water and drainage on the pitch worked well although the electric ( which should have been 10 amp ) kept tripping.
The area is lovely, with a short walk to the beach, the promenade seems to go on for miles and is very well kept.
The site wasn't full when we were there, which suited us fine.
I would recommend this site and would be happy to return.
A Busy Site
A very busy site with pitches arranged in little 'streets'. Not much shade from the trees in May, maybe it improves in high summer. Almost level pitches and well serviced. Sanitary facilities are 'OK' but in need of an upgrade. Good restaurant and there is a Mercadona just across the road so no need for a shop. Pool looked OK but didn't try it. We discovered by accident that we had arrived (on a Tuesday) in time to book to go on the weekly Wednesday bus and walking tour of Valencia which was excellent. Don't miss a walk along the front to see the old villas - relics of Benicassim's past.
Good location
The stay for 8 nights in late April was fine... but we thought the upper shower block was rather tired and in need of updating... although the staff did work hard to keep it clean.
This is a VERY busy site. The only one in our trip around Spain that required pre-booking, but they did agree to the ACSI rate of 19 euros per night.
The pitches are good, but accees roads are tight if you do not have a motor mover. The neighbours were very helpful in pushing us into out pitch.
The town is good, the beaches are great, and the walk on the 'greenway' to Opressa del mar was worth the 12 miles round-trip :-)
Enjoy :-)
Winter sun
We have stayed at this site for the last 3 years in January and February. As far as we are concerned it is located in a perfect area. Walking into the town takes 5 minutes, and walking to the beach about 10 minutes. There are excellent cycle routes just outside of the back gates. We booked through the Caravan club this year and had free WIFI, which would cost 18 euros for 28 days.
Should you not want to drag a very big satellite dish down and back there are a couple of people who will connect you up to a dish for the princely sum of a euro a day.
We will definitely be back again next year.
Winter Sun 2015/16
We stayed at Bonterra during the Festival period in Benicassim in January.
The location of the campsite is perfect for these occasions, plus, the Town is 'open' - restaurants, shops and bars.
The only downside is the poor quality of the food in the on-site restaurant, considering the prices charged.
Will book again for 2016/17, just waiting for the dates to be announced!

Wi-Fi is Free
We stayed at Bonterra Park for a week in October. We were automatically offered free Wi-Fi on arrival as we were pre booked through C.C. We really enjoyed our visit. The pitch was a good size with drainage and water. We had a washing up station right outside our van which was very useful. All nationalities around us which is nice. Excellent restaurant and swimming pool. A real bonus having supermarket at entrance to site. Excellent cycling opportunities in both directions. We will definitely be back and probably stay longer.
WiFi
Bonterra Park is a large well organised site close to the town, beach and supermarket. There were lots of Dutch long stayers on site. However, although WiFi is advertised on the Caravan Club web site as being free we had to pay a charge - the site staff were aware of the discrepancy, they just shrugged their shoulders.
