Nice site

Stayed here for 8 nights in June at start of holiday.  The pitch we were given was slightly sloping but huge. Very easy to find and access the site.  Take away food was excellent and all staff were very friendly.  Used the on site cash card system which was good as didn't keep collecting loads of small change.  Grounds were a pleasure to walk round.  Pool area looked good but we didn't use it.

June 2016

Brilliant site although they do tend to segregate so all the Brits were together - overlooking cows in field and you do need transport to get to interesting sites - there for the Tour de France which was brilliant good size pitches own water supply and very clean sanitaires.

French holiday 2016

This is an excellent site, easy to find and well sign posted. The staff was very helpful and showed you to the pitch. The pitch was sloping and the waste water drain was at the top, therefore waste water could not flow away, but not a big issue. The pitch was very large with pleasant views, the site was well maintained and very pretty with very good facilities. The local beaches were very clean as well as pretty and only 3 km away. A large supermarket was only 5 minutes away. We had a wonderful time for the two weeks we stayed there and would definitely recommend this site.

France - Summer 2015

This was our last stop before coming back to the UK from our 3 week summer tour.  As others have noted, the site does have excellent facilities but the pitches vary greatly from large flat ones to soft sloping ones! We were only stopping a couple of nights otherwise would have asked for a better pitch than the one allocated. That said, we didn't bother with the site's charge card; the bar and take-away staff were very friendly and helpful and we definitely enjoyed the water slide complex (not really a swimming pool - bit small for that). All in all great for us for a short stopover but not sure we'd plan anything longer.

A wonderful site

Stayed here in early September. The site was very quiet and closing for the season at the end of the week.  The site was perfect for us. Clean, lovely pitches great views and very helpful staff. The indoor pool complex is excellent as well.  The site location is great for those wishing to explore the district.

wonderful holiday

We had a great time at this site, really well sign posted and easy to find.  Upon arrival we where shown to our pitch by helpful staff, the pitch was very large and offered plenty of options of how we could set up nice size hedges gave us privacy on our pitch but still allowing enough light on to the pitch.  The kids couldn't get enough of the pools both indoor with the slides and outdoor one that was just a basic pool large kids play park and bouncy castles. On site shop was small and limited choice but not really an issue as large supermarket only 5 minutes up the err road, local traders hold a small market every Tuesday and there is live music at the bar on Monday and Thursday. All in all a great site and a great base to explore southern Normandy.

Disappointed with site

Whilst a pleasant site with extremly helpful staff we were overall disappointed. Our pitch, that we were allocated initially although large was on a considerable hill and not all of it was usable. we were moved to a flatter pitch which was more suitable. The toilet block although clean was blocked one morning and instead of closing it maintainance had all of the grids open and raw sewage was all over the floor whilst customers were using it. The Wifi was very expensive 4 euro an hour, with a teenager with us we found this very costly, also you could only use it in the bar area - a good selling point for the bar. Overall we were disappointed with the site, the pool is very small, we were lucky we travelled out of the main season, its mainly there for the slides and not swimming. we were asked to use the camping charge card ( issued by the site )but the take away did not accept it so was a bit of a waste of time. The site is well placed for visiting the Normany Beaches and has a couple of good beaches nearby.

Would recommend this site

This lovely site is well signposted from the nearby roads, so was easy to find. On arrival we were shown by a polite and efficient member of staff to our pitch, which was huge by UK standards. The on site shop and bar have opening hours that we couldn't really figure out, but both were good - the only slight complaint was that there was not much choice of fresh foods in the shop, but there is a big supermarket and local shops close by - as was the takeaway, which did great frites along with a variety of other items when you don't want to cook. The pool areas were spotless, warm and the kids loved the flumes! The toilet blocks were cleaned and supplied regularly. The kids club provides a welcome break for both kids and parents, although seemed more suited for small children than older ones. The weekly evening market had a variety of stalls, and the musical entertainment was varied and easy on the ear. Nearby beaches are easily accessible, and there are plenty of things to do in the area if you choose. Overall, very pleased we booked this site and would happily recommend and return.

Excellent site

Third visit to this site over 5 years. Convenient for Caen and other ferry ports. All facilities open in June with limited hours, but into July all open for the summer months. Very clean and tidy, the grounds in particular. Very friendly and efficient reception staff as were the take-away, bar and small shop. Cycle hire available for the quiet roads and tracks. The caravan pitching areas are excellent, large size and away from the static cabins.  Overall - an excellent site for this area of Normandy.
