Peaceful site in beautiful part of France
This is our second visit to this charming, well run site on the edge of the Vosges Mountians. The site itself is small and quiet with a real family vibe. The pitches are a good size and a small stream runs at the edge of the site- fun for children. There is no bar or restaurant (which is how we prefer it) but the site is within walking distance of the small town of Corcieux with restaurants. There is also a pizza van and a chicken rotiserie that visit during the week. In town there is a small market on Mondays.
The addition of a UV cover to the pool was a bonus as it made the pool a lovely place to relax and swim whatever the weather with an outside deck for those who want to sunbathe.
The toilet blocks are mixed and did get busy at peak time but the shaowers were lovely!
The area itself is fantastic and within a short drive there are lakes and hiking, castles and vinyards. The scenery is stunning. We enjoyed the summer toboggan at Col de la Schlucht. Further afield, Colmar is worth a visit. We can't wait to come back!
