We stayed 8 nights in June 2017 in low season. The grounds and facilities we found to deserve 5 stars ,even the toilets had toilet paper,(unusual for France) The staff were more than helpful, polite and informative. The pool, fitness room, restaurant are first class, although we felt the prices in the restaurant to be expensive( e17) for main course. Combourg is about 5 miles away and is a very attractive old town with good restaurants near a lake. We had a very enjoyable picnic on the banks of the canal about 200m from the site and enjoyed a walk along it and the shade it had to offer in high 30 C degrees. We were very lucky to arrive when one of the larger pitches was available as we have a twin axle Vanmaster but some can be difficult to access and vary greatly in size. Would we recommend this site? Most definitely....it was very busy for low season and we met some very lovely folk from Ireland, Scotland, England and Holland. New, more open pitches have been added this year and if you look further towards the back of the site, following the road past the toilet block, there are pitches situated in a more woodland setting.
