We have partnered with Green Flag for over 45 years to bring our members specialist UK breakdown cover and we’re now excited to partner with them to provide European breakdown cover as well.

Red Pennant Travel Insurance

We have an exciting new Red Pennant Travel Insurance product in the making which will be available in the coming weeks. This will be offered by our new specialist travel insurance partner, PJ Hayman and will provide cover for UK and European trips, with automatic cover for a wide range of pre-existing medical conditions included.

No. Our Emergency Assistance Team will continue to handle assistance requests on all existing policies sold prior to 31 January 2026. When you purchase MAYDAY European Breakdown Cover and/or Red Pennant Travel Insurance, you will have access to each insurer's Assistance teams who are multi-lingual, based in the UK and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
