Accessible touring
Touring with disabilities
Making holidays accessible for all
For people with a disability, reduced mobility, hidden disabilities or other specific accessibility needs, caravans and motorhomes are a great way to enjoy a holiday without worrying about access or compromising your independence. Accessibility and inclusivity is important to us, with an estimated 25% of member families enjoying touring with some form of disability. Find out more about all the ways in which we are working to make the great outdoors more accessible to everyone.

How to get in touch
If you need a little extra advice or support, and you prefer not to use the automated question and answer service on our website, you can talk to our award winning, friendly and supportive contact centre, based at our offices in East Grinstead. Please do let them know if you have any special requirements - you can reach them by phone, email, social media or live chat, and they support Relay UK from BT.
Get inspired with the blog
A wheelchair user with a genetic muscle-weakening condition, Karla loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. Along with her partner, she bought and modified a touring caravan to combat the difficulty of finding accessible accommodation, and hasn’t looked back since! Together they have travelled from the remote Scottish islands to the Pyrenees mountains, and everywhere in between.
Making financial services inclusive
It’s important to us that before you purchase any of our insurance or Caravan Cover you understand what you are covered for and that the cover meets your needs. If you require any additional support, for example documentation in a specific format, or need us to explain something in more detail, please do ask us. Just call us on the phone number shown on the appropriate page and we will do our best to help.
Digital accessibility
Our website is the gateway to all that we do, giving great technical advice and information on our services. Our website is currently partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. We acknowledge that there is room for improvement and recognise the opportunity to do better.
We have an ongoing programme of activities aimed at enhancing our accessibility for everyone. While we're working hard to ensure the accessibility of our website, we are actively exploring and resolving a number of known limitations.
