Gait Analysis Appointments
Runners Need offers an in-store Gait Analysis service across its stores, designed to help runners find footwear that best matches their natural movement and running goals.
During the appointment, an expert will begin by discussing your current running habits, future goals, and any previous injuries that may influence how you run. You’ll then run on a treadmill for around 10-15 seconds in a neutral shoe while your movement is recorded.
Using OCHY’s technology, the team can analyse how your body moves and how your feet land, providing a detailed view of your running mechanics from both rear and side perspectives. This research-backed analysis helps identify your natural gait and allows the specialists to recommend shoes that best support your running style.
Based on the results and your preferences, the team will suggest a selection of running shoes suited to your gait, helping you try different options in-store to find a comfortable and supportive fit for your runs.
