Sportcamp Woferlgut
Visited Sportcamp in July 2019 on a recommendation, and we were certainly not dissappointed. In our view, Sportcamp rates as one of the best, if not the best, site we have stayed on. At checkin we were given a full brochure of all the facilities the site has to offer, we were then escorted to our pitch and given the option to choose something else if we preferred on the way. The toilet and washroom facilities were spotless, and copious enough so as we never had to wait. The site boasts a gym, swimmimg pool, and sauna complex that you would find hard to beat in some of the best hotels. And the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The site hotel has a restaurant open to campers, although there are also multiple choices for food and drink nearby. As far as location goes, Zell am See is 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike on cycle paths, and some significant Austrian mountain attractions (Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Glacier, Krimml Waterfalls) are only 45 minutes away by car. We would certainly return if the opportunity arises, and will recommend to others. A brilliant holiday in the Austrian Alps. Thank you.
