This pretty campsite situated on the edge of Pontorson and close to St-Malo offers a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Enjoy breakfast in the bar area next to reception, or have a dip in the pool complex. There's a mini farm and playground for children.
The pitches are neatly laid out on grass and separated by hedges. Although many are open and sunny, some are shaded by trees.
Haliotis’ proximity to local attractions makes it popular, with the spectacular Mont Saint-Michel being within cycling distance. A bus service runs from near the site entrance to the major towns in the area, including St Malo. Explore nearby Pontorson town’s boutique shops and small winding streets.

We used this site in July 2023 as a base to explore the area including Mont St Michael and St Malo. Easy access even if you go through Ponterson. The serviced pitches are near the river and although the photo shows them to be sunny, you are in fact under trees which make the pitches very shaded. If you want an open pitch I suggest you go for a standard pitch or the en suite pitches which are not under the trees. There is a small pool and a bar but the so called cafe only serves chips. Its a short walk into Ponterson where there are plenty of restaurants. The toilet block is typically French (no toilet seats) but the toilet by the pool and bar does have a seat. The staff are friendly and helpful. We tried getting to Mont St Michael but it was just too busy for us with the car park being full by 11am so we gave up and went to St Malo which was much easier to access with big car parks near the harbour and sea front. Overall, its a site I would happily use again if visiting that area.
