This established site is set in a park with views over the château and a small lake. It’s well-maintained, with grassy pitches and a friendly atmosphere. Although it offers entertainment and facilities for families, it’s a relaxing place to escape to and enjoy the natural scenery and local wildlife in the heart of rural France.
The restaurant, housed in one of the estate’s restored outbuildings, serves excellent cuisine, while the pool complex and lake provide opportunities to swim and canoe.
The medieval town of Boussac is a short walk from the site and has a range of amenities. A 30km drive takes visitors to Montluçon, a sizeable town which is dominated by its 15th century château and home to some fine townhouses and pretty public gardens.
