Mas Cauvy is a small rural family run site perfect for a relaxing holiday. There is plenty of space for children to play along with a lovely outdoor pool for everyone to enjoy.
Located between Alès and Anduze, at the foot of the Cevennes means it is a great base to view and explore the breathtaking scenery in the surrounding area. Perfect for walkers and keen cyclists.
Parc National des Cevennes is 10km from the site where you can enjoy a day in the mountains. Take a drive to the beautiful historical city of Nîmes which is 40km away where you can visit the Arènes de Nîmes, the Maison Carrée. The Mediterranean Sea is also just an hour away.

From Nîmes
Take the N106 in the direction of Alès
When arriving at Alès, turn left at the roundabout direction of Montpellier towards the D6110.
- At the end of the Avenue Olivier de Serres, there is a big roundabout: Turn left (3rd exit) towards Montpellier-Saint Christol-lès-Alès
- At the top of the coast just after this roundabout, there is an OPEL garage on the right: take the small road opposite on the left (D367) towards Montèze-Montmoirac
- Straight on for 3kms. You will find the chemin du of Mas Cauvy on the left : follow the signs “Mas Cauvy”.
Important : Avoid following your GPS if it passes you through the chemin des Dupines in front of Hyper U in Alès or by the chemin des Astries at the end of the Avenue Olivier de Serres. These paths have very narrow passages for a caravan or a camper.
From Montpellier
Exit the A9 motorway at the D34 and take the road towards Alès by Sommières
- You arrive in Saint Christol lès Alès by the D6110.
- Before the arrival in the centre (roundabout with the pyramid), there is a small roundabout with an olive tree : turn right on the route du Mas Rouge
- Straight on until to the chemin du Mas Cauvy on the left (100m after the “Stop”) : Follow the signs “Mas Cauvy”.
Important : Avoid following your GPS if it passes you through the village of Montèze before arriving at Saint Christol (Route de Montèze on the right of the D6110). The streets are very narrow for a caravan or a camper.
From Anduze
Follow the direction of Alès by the D910A
- In the centre of Saint Christol les Alès, turn right at the roundabout of the Stone Pyramid
- After 200m, at the small roundabout, turn left at the Route du Mas rouge
- Straight on until the chemin du Mas Cauvy on the left (100m after the “Stop”) : Follow the signs “Mas Cauvy”.
