Situated in the south of Germany in the heart of the Lower Franconian wine country, this is a perfect base for experiencing the culture and cuisine of the Main-Franconian region.

Located just 20 kilometres south of Würzburg, away from the busy tourist spots and directly on the Main river, it is an ideal spot to explore the local area. There are many wine-growing villages, festivals, and cultural events to discover, such as those in the village of Sulzfeld or the artists' village of Sommerhausen, with its ceramics and wooden sculptures.

Throughout the entire year in the small neighbouring town of Ochsenfurt, you can experience typical German festivities such as the Easter market, the Maypole raising, the music night in July, the Ox festival in September, and the St Martin's Day parade in November.

The site features its own amphitheatre, which is used for events during Ascension and Pentecost. With its grassy pitches and lovely views of the river, this campsite offers a relaxed atmosphere alongside its own on-site restaurant and an outdoor pool with a children's playground nestled under the trees.

The adjacent water park offers more thrills for the family with its slides and diving boards, and only 35 kilometres away, you can find Bavaria's largest amusement park, Geiselwind, featuring numerous fairground rides, animals, shows, and events.
