Why stay here ...

Set on a stunning Blue Flag beach, Ca’Savio is a very large, family-run site with a spectacular location. Spacious and well-maintained pitches are set back from the beach with a pleasant open space giving children plenty of room to run around.

The wealth of facilities include two separate swimming pool complexes which are great for keeping youngsters entertained throughout the warmer months. Theres also a brand new well stocked supermarket –ice cream bar and Reception building and new entrance to the site as well as two restaurants and snack bars at the two pools.

Being located just across the lagoon from Venice, the site is a fabulous base from which to explore the city and its surrounding islands. The more adventurous can reach Padua, with its wealth of architecture and stunning basilica, in around 90 minutes, while closer to the site is the Aqualandia theme park and, of course, the wonderful beaches.

Buon giorno

Very large site just across the lagoon from Venice. Site staff were friendly and almost all spoke English.  Several on site snack bars, with restaurant and bar. Only eat in restaurant once and wasn't very impressed food being cold and returned  several times. But there are several lovely restaurants and bars just outside and all at reasonable  prices. Pools and shower blocks are all well cared for and kept very clean. We spent a day in Venice but it's well worth more visits. Cost 20 euros for a day pass on the boat bus/ferry which allows you to hop on an off as you wish and only a 15 min bike ride from the camp to the ferry terminal.Gondolas were 80 euros for about 30 mins. I would recommend  you take some good quality insect repellant as despite the site spraying weekly the mosses do bite.. will definitely  be returning.
