Work In progress

L'Orangeraie Calig
We visited in late April 2023 and stayed 4 nights, so out of season. Restaurant was only open at weekends, no shop for basics milk water bread, 20 min walk to shop in Calig which is a fantastic medieval village that had a festival on during our visit . First 2 days there was no toilet paper and hadn't been cleaned. No separate Toilet block, toilets are part of pool/restaurant complex/ The whole campsite looks like a work-in-progress, rocky pitches, paths and roads. Very quiet and rural with nice areas to walk the dog

Beautiful site in the orange groves.

L'Orangeraie Calig
We stayed on this site for a week, earlier this month. The site is in a lovely spot, not far from the coast, with some very interesting villages nearby. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, plenty of loungers available and free WiFi. The site owners are French, very friendly and helpful. Fresh bread is baked on site every morning and the bar / cafe is open in the evenings. But beware, there is a very large site expansion programme underway, with dust, noise etc from 8am until 6pm every day. We enjoyed our stay, but would not really reccomebnd this site until the work has been completed.
