Electric Mobility Scooter to take caravaning see in description.

Electric mobility scooter, Rascal Vista, Pavement legal and boot/ Motorhome garage compatible. This scooter has always been stored indoors and is in pristine condition. It breaks down into 6 manageable pieces and can be tucked away in either the car or caravan. When on site having an awning would be ideal as it can be assembled and stored in there when not in use. Unlike many other scooters it has full coil sprung suspension which makes the ride much more comfortable. The tiller, with all the controls, can be positioned forwards or backwards to fit the most comfortable position for the rider by turning a knob. It can be put flat when dismantled for stowage. The seat adjusts up and down by changing the height of the strut and forwards and backwards using the lever at the side of the seat. The seat also swivels to aid getting on and off by using the lever on the other side of the seat. When taking the scooter apart the back of the seat comes forward to a flat position to again to take up less room. There is good ground clearance allowing you to ride over rougher surfaces and together with the sprung suspension it is ideal for as an example National Trust sites. There are LED lights front and rear should you want to be out at night. I have included a virtually new cover which covers the whole scooter. ( The Tiller controls must be kept dry at all times, according to the instructions, and you can purchase a cover from a mobility outlet to just cover your hands and the controls when out in the rain ). There is a free wheel lever which disengages the motor allowing the scooter to be pushed freely. The scooter comes with its own charging unit which plugs into the plug on the tiller and into the normal 13 amp 240 volt socket in the caravan. My wife and I are lifetime members of the CC club having caravanned for 53 years with the CC. 25 years ago my wife injured her spine nursing and had to have 7 vertebrae in her lower back fused. The result was she could only walk with difficulty. We both thought this would be the end of our caravanning but we came up with idea of getting a mobility scooter which changed everything. I was fit so off we went caravan an scooter in tow to carry on with our hobby. I used to walk and my wife would ride. The scooter is about 4 years old and not gone very far since we sold our last caravan in 2023 due to my now ill health. I have maintained the battery in accordance to the hand book and the condition meter shows full charge and maintains this when not in use.
