A MUST VIEW well cared for Ford Transit 100 T350L right wheel drive 6 gear. Come take a look at this van to see exactly what it has to offer. Pictures don’t entirely do it justice. Originally a network rail crew van, our van was converted by its previous owners in 2020 to be lived in full time fully off grid as a campervan. Rufus therefore has some fantastic features including a solar panels, wifi, Sony Apple car play, rear view reversing camera. Since purchasing Rufus in January 2024, we have: – Added 2 belted seats which transform into a bed in the rear (pictured) – Fitted swivel features on the front passenger and driver seats – Fitted a Fiamma F45S awning – Had the electrics fully reviewed and rewired where necessary – Fitted a new off grid heater Engine: 2.4 Transmission: 6 manual Fuel: Diesel MOT valid until October 2026 Body condition in good order with the odd signs of wear and tear given the age. Rufus was converted at the end of 2020 and lived in by the previous owners over the past couple of years. Given the intended purpose was to live in it full time, it was built structurally strong, and we have never had any issues with any of the furniture since construction. Rufus has a full vapour barrier and insulation behind the walls, ceiling and floor. Originally a box seat with a litter tray under for the previous owners 2 cats, we added 2 belted seats in 2024, but this could easily be adapted again for animals, and currently acts as great extra storage. We have a small shower cubicle that doubles up as storage and the toilet area. A full shower was never installed, instead there is a detachable electric pump shower which can be used inside and outside of the van. The van is open space and light, the white walls and upper cabinets achieve this with the lower kitchen cabinets giving the van a pop of colour. These have recently been repainted. UNITS/ TABLE – The van has plenty of storage units above the cab, kitchen and bedroom area as well as large kitchen drawers. This means there is plenty of space to store everything you need for an adventure. The table leg is on a floor plate meaning that it can be removed when not in use. LIGHTS – There are LED ceiling lights run off the 12v system and there are 3 in the ceiling 2 in the bedroom are and 1 in the front seating area. The 2 bedroom lights work off a separate switch to the main lights. All the lights are controlled via touch-sensitive dimmer switches. FAN – Max Air ceiling fan above the kitchen with remote, these are simply the best campervan fans out there and prove super useful on hot days. TOILET – Porta potty in shower area. STORAGE – The van has plenty of storage under the bed, in the kitchen and various wall units and box seating area. Our daughter was born in February 2026 just weeks after purchasing the van and we’ve never found ourselves stuck for storage space even with cot, pram and all the new born paraphernalia! SINK & TAP – All the fittings including tap, sink, gas stove and sockets are black. The tap is powered by a powerful 12v Shurflo water pump which is located under the sink. PLUMBING – We have a 65 L underslung fresh water tank with external fill up and hose. We also have a 40 L grey tank under the van. The plumbing runs from the water tanks under the van to the kitchen are where the water pump supplies the tap. The water tap has a convenient switch. to turn it on and off and all fittings are John Guest push fit. SOLAR SETUP – There are 3 x 100W Renogy solar panels on the roof with two panels mounted on tilting brackets. We also have a 30 AH DC to DC charger and a 300 AH Lithium battery. This makes our van an all-year-round off-grid machine. HEATING – We had a new diesel heater installed in 2025 to replace the old diesel heater. It keeps the van nice and cosy during the winter months making the van useable all year round. SLEEPING - Fixed bed at the rear of the van with two wall indents for extra room and a customer memory foam mattress (purchased in February 2024) to sleep 2 adults. The dining table area perfectly fits a travel cot (which is what we used initially when travelling with our daughter). It can also be converted into a bed using the 2 seats we added to the box seating area (pictured). This would fit 2 children (or 2 fairly small adults who don’t mind a bit of a squish!). The previous owners were travel bloggers and have a YouTube channel. It includes several videos of our van and details around its conversion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W71NmEKnDE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unp9X0Dprig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xilcOEE2cY
