Why stay here ...

A welcoming adults only site in a half acre well 'manicured' field, very slight east to west slope, 0.5 miles from the A14 with its easy access from North South East and West via the A1, M1, M11 and M6. Each generously sized pitch has its own electric point. Views of colourful arable fields present peaceful horizons often marked with Red Kites and Buzzards and other wildlife throughout the seasons. Dogs are welcome on a lead please. Footpaths and a bridle path are accessed from the farm roads.

Nearby villages offer opportunities for relaxing exploration. The Historic City of Peterborough is about 45 minutes drive away with its Cathedral and a variety of shopping. You can also enjoy days out to Ely, Cambridge, The Imperial War Museum at Duxford, the historic Shuttleworth Collection of Aircraft and Motorcycles which is at Biggleswade near Sandy off the A1. Rutland Water, Anglesea Abbey, the Wimpole Estate, Wrest Park, Bletchley Park and Stamford are also possible day trips. Fishing Boats and cycles can be hired at Grafham Water which is about half an hour's drive away. Food in the vicinity includes local Pubs please ask the owners for recommendations.

There is Trout fishing at Grafham Water, coarse and Carp fishing at Bluebell Lakes just outside Oundle. Please note this is a working arable farm, but there is very little noise except at harvest time when work can go on into the night. We do permit awnings but no groundsheets and we do ask that you do not stray into the crops from the footpaths for your own safety and ours. TV reception is limited. We do not provide toilets or showers but battery charging is possible. Risk and fire assessments are regularly carried out.

We would like to welcome you to our peace and quiet.

Very peaceful, spacious and an easy stopover

Molesworth Lodge Farm
We used the site as a stopover on the way to Norfolk. It was a delight, very spacious pitches, facilities to hand. Big skies and setting sun beautiful. Good security access gate and easy access, you can understand the directions when the main road is busy, listen to them. Thanks for the welcome. Great value, was cash only as we only called about an hour beforehand.

A really good "chill out" site

Molesworth Lodge Farm
The site is mainly grass, although there seemed to be the option for one hardstanding. As in the description there is some slope to the site and depending on which pitch you are on and which way you pitch, you may need levelling blocks. We have just returned from three nights here, weather glorious and ground hard and dry, so no problems being on grass. Pitches are well spaced, so plenty of room. There was a friendly welcome from Mr Page, who explained that other than one pitch which was reserved we could pitch where never we wanted. Finding the site is easy - the Farm Access is well signed on the A14, with 3, 2, 1 countdown markers. But do follow site directions, especially if coming from the west so you dont try turning right across the A14 with a caravan or slow vehicle. The site is far enough away from the A14 for it not to impinge on the site at all, the only sound was that of the birds - of which there are many. A "set to" between buzzard, red kite and crow was interesting! Although this site would be handy as a stop off if the A14 was a part of your journey, it feels more remote than it is - so really good just to unwind and get away from everything. There are a number of footpaths/bridle ways accessible from the site. We would definitely return.

Fabulous place

Molesworth Lodge Farm
Used this site to be near to family, visiting after lockdown. Peaceful, country setting. Mr Paige very welcoming. Woke up to family of Green Woodpeckers on the lawn next to us, very special to see. Red Kites landed on the barn, hares in the field. A wildlife heaven. Thanks so much.

Lovely site, great views & lots of nice walks

Molesworth Lodge Farm
Stayed here for 2 nights this weekend, we were the only ones there. Easy access from the A14 but far enough away not to hear any road noise. Well kept and well spaced pitches. Friendly and helpful owner. Lovely views of surrounding farmland. Lots of nice walks on bridleways/ footpaths straight from site. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a lovely relaxing weekend and our dogs really enjoyed it too, we will definitely be back!

Lovely site

Molesworth Lodge Farm

Well located for A14 with easy access.  A pretty and immaculate site with countryside views for miles in all directions. Generous pitches with one hard standing that was great for a wet week. A slight slope but nothing our small chocks didn't overcome. A friendly owner and warm welcome. Plentiful dog walking from site.

Definitely an addition to the list of sites to revisit
