Great for Dogs

Oaklands Farm
Weve stayed here a few times on the way to somewhere else! Last year we stayed on the way to Yorkshire both coming and going and the CL we were booked onto in Yorkshire was awful so we agreed the best 2 days of our holiday were spent at Oaklands Farm. Funnily enough we were reluctant to leave on the way up and wish we hadn't. This CL is peaceful, well kept and dog friendly with a good dog walk round the adjacent field. We must stop longer another time. Thank you .

Loved the Red Kites

Oaklands Farm
Well kept site and friendly owners. The real stars are the Red Kites that circle the site all day and perch in the trees around the site. Was able to walk to Stilton for a drink and a meal. A1 is nearby but you can’t hear it.

Excellent Site , very well kept.

Oaklands Farm
Stayed at this site for five nights, this is a very good located site with excellent access to local places of interest and as we are dog owners great walks from the site whether you want a short walk or a long one. The site is clean and tidy and quiet for a relaxing stay. We would fully recommend this CL site and would not hesitate to return . Many Thanks.

Lovely CL

Oaklands Farm
Stayed here for two nights on a weekend away from home, there really is nothing to dislike about this CL. Access from the A1 is good, drive access is good. We were offered a choice of pitch, grass or hardstanding and WIFI is included in the cost. Hardstanding gravel good and we pitched our caravan so that the awning was on the grass. Elsan down the bottom of the site and the fresh drinking water is up near the house. Great dog walk in the field through the hedge next door. Lots of great walks directly from the campsite. Lovely welcome and send off from the owner who recommended the chip van visiting in Folksworth about a mile away on a Friday evening. If the wind was coming in from the East we could vaguely hear traffic noise from the A1 but this was barely noticeable and we had a quiet and peaceful stay here. We would come back.
