August 2019

A pretty site edged by orchards of plums and apples. A pleasant welcome by really nice owners. The field is a great size with no need to be cramped and despite some heavy rain while we were there, there was no sign of flooding. We cycled into St Ives and could have cycled to Huntingdon if time permitted. Hemmingford Abbots is a charming village with a superb old village pub. Definitely worth another visit

Would Recommend

Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of May 2018. Arrived very late due to traffic issues but owner came out to us and quickly told us everything we needed to know. Mown grass, level site, spacious, neat, tidy and generally well kept. Very easy to access off the A14 (would be excellent for a one night stop over) but this obviously results in traffic noise from this very busy road; it varied depending on weather conditions but wasn't a real problem for us at any time. Plenty to do in the surrounding area, Houghton Mill (NT) an easy walk away with plenty of other well signposted public paths and bridleways to explore. Would look forward to returning to this well run site.

Super site.

My wife and I have just returned from three nights on Ridgeway Farm. We had an excellent stay there was some noise from the A14 but as we weren't on site during the day we only heard it during the evening and it wasn't too bad. There are excellent walks all around the area, to Houghton Mill, St. Ives and along the river. We are going to return later in the year.

Worth a visit

Just had a very pleasant weekend at Ridgeway Farm. Site is large, level and well maintained, and the owners are very friendly. There is some excellent walks near by, and we recommend visiting the water meadows at Hemmingford Abbot. If you want a Chinese take-away Cinta in Godmanchester is awesome. The only down side is a little bit of road noise from the A14 if the wind is in the wrong direction.

Super CL

Just returned from a lovely weekend at ridgeway farm. Access to the site from the A14 is simple and stress free, the site is really spacious and level with apple trees around its perimeter. There are fantastic  circular walks direct from the site along the Ouse to St, Ives, Houghton and Godmanchester. Will definitely return.
