Oliver Cromwell's House
Experience 17th century domestic life in re-created period rooms and Civil War exhibition, with audio tour.
View and BookLinden House CL is situated on the A1123 just outside Haddenham on the Wilburton Road. It is set away from the road and is in an elevated position with far reaching views across unspoilt fens towards Cambridge. The site is set in 1.5 acres of grass.
Haddenham itself is ideal for visiting Ely with its beautful cathedral, Cambridge with its stunning colleges, Newmarket for its horse racing and St Ives to see the statue of Oliver Cromwall. The village itself has a Spar grocery shop plus a butcher, a pharmacy, a traditional pub and a new family run coffee shop/wine bar. The Cherry Tree is definitely worth a visit for a quick coffee or lunch which is in walking distance of the site and welcomes dogs. There is also a craft centre with a coffee shop.
There is no electric car charging on site. Nearest point is in Ely.
