Lovely spot

Bank Farm
What a lovely spot this is. We have just stayed for six nights over the jubilee weekend as it’s close to family. Like many CLs it is just a field but the position is just lovely with great views. Mainly flat with fairly good access. If towing take it wide at entrance. Hosts very friendly. Will be visiting again.

Wonderful little site!

Bank Farm
I must admit I am loving the small tranquil sites much more recently than the large ones. Stayed here in August and it was so peaceful and quiet. Some lovely horses came to say in the adjoining field hello and it was just lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again. Also we had a nice meal and a few excellent real ales in the White Horse in the village. A great stay.

Lovely peaceful site

Bank Farm
A beautiful peaceful site with wonderful views and stunning sunsets. The grass is nice and short and easy to put pegs in for awning. Easy to use water and elsan points. Very dog friendly. There are lots of footpaths and walks from the site to explore the local area. We stayed for 2 nights but this wasn't enough to discover them all. The owners are very helpful and friendly - especially as when we were ready to leave, we discovered our tow vehicle battery was completely flat. The owner Graham came to our rescue with jump leads and tractor to help out. Thank you so much for this and for a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Lovely

Bank Farm
A lovely quiet site with water and elsan. Short grass and lovely views with a hedge on one side. Overlooks a potato field at present with distant views to the Wirral and \North wales. Some traffic noise in the morning but not intrusive. Occasional planes go over and most exciting are the large Airbuses coming in and out of the nearby air strip. Ideally placed for Chester, Wirral and North Cheshire. Easy access. We are a big single axle and had no difficulty at all. If following the directions in the hand book be warned that the warning sign for the right turn onto the B road is obscured by trees. Also the sign for the site sits back little so start looking when you pass the Foxcote tea rooms (closed). Easy turn in. On coming out of the site you have to pull onto the opposite side but it is easy. All things being equal we hope to return regularly. Thanks Sue and Graham.

Ideal for Chester & Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village

Bank Farm
We stayed Friday 8th November 2019 for two nights. What a great new CL, only added in August! Despite the none stop rain during the week leading up to the weekend the field was in great shape and excellently drained through the sandy sub-terrain. The site is well secluded from the main road and has fantastic views across to the Welsh Mountains. We received a very warm welcome from the site owner, Sue, who gave us plenty of local information. Absolutely perfect location, just ten minute drive into the centre of Chester and twenty minutes to Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village. if you have dogs like us (we have 3) there are some great circular walks directly from the site. We will definitely be back in 2020 :)
