Why stay here ...

Uplands is a CL with big sky and views across the Mole Valley to Exmoor. We are located in a village setting but we have a rural feel with plenty of peace and tranquility. The village offers a C16century pub which features in the good pub guide or there is the Mole Resort, they also offer other outdoor activities. Additionally, Chittlehamholt is lucky to have the award winning community shop for all those necessary bits and pieces.

Uplands is a good central base to explore North Devon, the historic towns of Barnstaple and Bideford are approximately 25 and 35 minutes away, we have many beaches a short drive away and 7 golf courses within 20 miles. If fishing, walking or cycling are your passion you can enjoy all of these activities and many more whilst staying with us. Each pitch has 16amp hook-up. Please use green chemicals, as we are not on mains drainage. All pitches are hardstanding.

There is no charge for awnings or pup tents but please use a breathable ground sheet on grass pitches.

Man’s best friend is most welcome but we request that dogs be kept on a lead to protect the wildlife. There is plenty of space to walk your dog if you do not choose to leave the site.
