Why stay here ...

Our CL site is set on the East Yorkshire coast at the site of Mr Moo's ice cream parlour, half a mile from the village of Skipsea. The CL  is an Adults Only site. There are 2 grass pitches and 3 hardstanding pitches with electric hook ups and part surrounded by shrubs and trees. There is a shower/toilet block available for members to use.

We ask that during your stay you do not use groundsheets. There is a dog walk with direct access to the beach starting from Mr Moo's cafe. We do ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times whilst on the site as we are a working farm. A request bus stop is available from outside the site. The village boasts a pub and post office/shop. Further afield within 5 miles are supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways. Fishing is available directly from the beach, and coarse fishing within a mile. Nearest golf course is less than a mile.

The site is an excellent base from which to explore the Yorkshire Wolds, Holderness whilst further afield are the historic cities/towns of York, Beverley and Hull, whilst along the coast are the seaside resorts of Bridlington, Hornsea, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby. We are also within an hour's drive of the North Yorkshire Moors with its steam railway and open moorland.

Mr Moo's ice cream parlour offers homemade ice creams, breakfasts, light lunches, cake, ice cream sundaes together with tea and coffee.

There is a small seasonal touring site adjacent to the CL which may have children present.
