Why stay here ...

Bulley Farm is 330 acre working arable farm in a beautiful setting next to 1000 acres of Bulley Woods and RSPB Highnam. The CL site is in a 5 acre plum orchard with 4 ponds and 5 level hardstanding pitches, although in drier conditions we encourage  guests to explore the whole field.

Great place for dog walking straight from the site with local maps available from the site hut which also has local tourist and eateries information leftlets.

We are located between Gloucester, Royal Forest of Dean, Newent and Ross-on-Wye. The Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Herefordshire and the Welsh borders are less than an hour's drive away.

Nearby is a Norman church (Bulley Church), fishing (Bulley Fisheries), a farm shop (Over Farm Market) and a fish and seafood shop and restaurant (Severn & Wye Smokery).

Find us on Facebook - Bulley Farm Caravan Site.

Beautiful CL

Bulley Farm
What a great place for a CL. Just wow! An easy trip from Kent and onto A40 to Bulley. Excellent instructions with little signs along Bulley Lane so you can’t make a wrong turn. When we arrived the rapeseed in the surrounding fields was in full flower. A sea of yellow along with the woods just up the lane that were full of bluebells. There is an information hut with printed walks and rapeseed oil and fresh eggs for purchase. Lots of places to park caravan although we chose hard standing as the orchard was still drying out after all the rain recently. Wi-Fi quite good and electric was fine. Bird feeders on most pitches. Lots of birds around including woodpeckers that visited most mornings. We also saw Red Kites and Buzzards flying over the fields. Gloucester Cathedral and the various tours available were very good with knowledgeable guides. The Dutch water Garden we also enjoyed. Lots of local walking and of course the gorgeous countryside and views everywhere. Well done to the owners for a really great CL.

One of the Best!

Bulley Farm
We stayed at this site as a 'stop off' travelling home from Scotland after visiting family there and what a find! It was all we could have wished for - not far off our route, easy pitching and so peaceful. We loved watching the birds visiting the many feeders and it was lovely chatting to the owner Tania. The site seems to be ideal for visiting lots of interesting places so we plan to go back sometime for a longer stay. Many thanks for sharing this peaceful spot.

Great Stay

Bulley Farm
This is a great site. We had no idea where to go but decided the day before whilst on the road. Great welcome too. The site was wet, but no problem the access road and pitches all hard, Enough hard standing pitches with electric hook-up close by. No need to venture onto grass pitches until these pitches dry out. Many members there because of hard standing, because the other sites were closed because of being waterlogged. There was a lot of rain in the UK in April 2023

Yet another lovely stay

Bulley Farm
This is our second stay at this beautiful site. Despite arriving following days and days of heavy rain and not able to stay on the large orchard, the hardstanding area was good. Putting the caravan onto pitch nose first gave us beautiful views of the Orchard and small pond. When the rain stopped on our first full day there, we spent hours watching the woodpeckers, goldfinches and many other birds feeding, the ducks on the pond and lake and lots of other wildlife too. Great walks straight from the site, many kayaking launch points from nearby canals and rivers and the city of Gloucester, the town of Ross on Wye and village of Symonds Yat with their restaurants, pubs and shops all within easy reach. Over Farm Market is close by with an excellent butchers, deli and local produce available daily. There's the farm's own rapeseed oil available on site and homemade jams, jelly and chutneys available with the proceeds going to the local.parish. Fresh free range eggs are also available to buy on Bulley Lane. Jeremy and his wife are friendly and helpful and work hard to keep this site beautiful, Can't wait to return. Access is easy but narrow so don't arrive before 12.

Great CL in lovely location

Bulley Farm
Spent the last week of March on this lovely CL. Unfortunately due to weather we all had to stick to the hard standing pitches, can't wait to come back and venture into the orchard. There seems to be a bird feeder on every pitch with the hedges full of birds. We took our bicycles and rode to Westbury Water Gardens ( and the Lyon Pub) nearly all the way on single track lanes. From Highnam there is a road free cycle way nearly all the way to Gloucester. On wet days we took the car with Ross, Chepstow and Ledbury all with easy reach. The hut on site is well stocked with local information, book and DVD loans. For those concerned about electric usage our twin axle van used just under 15kwh per day doing all heating, fridge and kettle boiling on electric. The additional electric charge was under £10. Great site , lovely owners and many returning customers. Plenty still to explore on our next visit.
