Ashford Certificated Locations

Ashford, a town in Kent, lies on the River Great Stour on the southern edge of the North Downs. There is evidence of settlement here since the Iron Age, and you can still visit the thriving market that has its origins in the 13th century.

Culture vultures will enjoy looking around St Mary's Church and the Lake House at Eastwell Park, one of the earliest dwellings in the area still in existence. There are a cluster of medieval half-timbered buildings in the town centre too.

However, there's more to Ashford than just its past. You can shop till you drop at the County Square centre or hunt down designer bargains at the excellent Ashford Designer Outlet. Why not your hand at bowling, catch a blockbuster film or relax in the Ashford Green Corridor too?

Finally, don't miss the fine historic estate of Godinton House and Gardens, which is on the fringes of the town.
