Perfect for our needs

Stud Farm
When booking the dates, owner asked to ring couple of days before so he could give instructions. Just as well we did as it was very helpful. Was advised not to follow sat nav after leaving M25 as this would send us down very narrow lanes. Had no problem in finding the entrance with the detailed instructions and were given a code to get in electric gate along with pitch number. Owner appeared as filling up with water and directed us to where chemical waste point was and rubbish bins. All pitches were taken. We did not encounter any noise. We enjoyed the freshly cooked pizzas in the The Aperfield Pub opposite. We picked the site as we wanted to visit Chartwell National Trust close by and there are other NT places in the location. A very pleasant stay.

Useful rather than enjoyable.

Stud Farm

We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting friends nearby. There is not much choice of CL around here and this one leaves a little to be desired. Very difficult to find as there is no signage on the road - I had to reverse 5 yards back up the busy road to get in. I was given the wrong code for the gate, the toilet block is grimy, I never found the chemical toilet emptying point, and there are many other small businesses close by. However needs must, and it does have electric hookups which the other CL in this area does not. Useful rather than enjoyable. However, the pub across the road, The Aperfield Inn, was excellent and well worth a visit.

Comment from the Club:

Many thanks for your review. The CL owner has been in touch as he takes feedback from our members very seriously and wants to provide a quality site. As such since your visit the CL owner has invested in the site to make a more attractive site for members to enjoy and our CL Advisor has visited the site recently and was impressed with all the work that has been carried out. The CL owner is now also upgrading the hardstanding pitches, each with grass border edges.

Stayed here for a week as our son lives in Croydon, and 30 mins away.we had been told which pitch to go on when we booked and pitched up.There was already 4 other outfits 2 of which turned out to be workmans, arriving and leaving at all hours. The shower and toilet block were grimy and no hot water in basins, also no toilet paper or towels.Dust and cobwebs on pipes etc.20p for a shower was a bit much.have stayed at places for the same price and expect facilities to be clean.

Stayed here 10 days. Great for visiting Nat.Trust places. Site though let off for different businesses making it a bit noisy if you want a bit of quiet during the day at fine when they shut. 20 pence for a hot shower great value as is the pub across the road.
