Why stay here ...

Hidden away down a quiet, pretty country lane, open 365 days a year, Puddle Cottage is a small friendly park set in a lovely quiet and secluded location surrounded by open countryside.

It is the ideal location for visiting Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Cleveleys and Fleetwood. Only 40 minutes from the Trough of Bowland and only an hour to the Lake District.

The ancient market town of Poulton is just over a mile away with shops, restaurants and bars. We are in walking distance to a bus stop and a pub. It is the best of both worlds, semi rural location but close enough to all the local amenities.

There are spacious, level, hardstanding pitches large enough for caravan, car and awning. All pitches have 16amp electric hook-ups. There is a log cabin which houses the luxury heated shower room and toilet facilities. We have a lovely lawned area with a picnic bench and swings for the children.

Winter bookings may be available, please call to enquire.

Great site spoilt by neighbouring house noise

This is the second time we have been to this site. The first time was last year and it was beautiful and peaceful. This time, although a great site, there was 4 occasions when a nearby house played extremely loud music, once on an afternoon and 3 evenings, finishing st 1m, then midnight and the last time it was 1.30 in the morning. They must be new neighbours as everyone says it is usually peaceful. Totally out of the owners control but the last thing you want to hear at a beautiful site is a party and the loud thump thump of dance music into the early hours.

A wonderful quiet little site.

We've been here twice now & will happily go back again, Its so well hidden that you never get disturbed, Michelle the owner is very welcoming & accepts my Scottish notes unlike others I've recently been too, The facility's are adequate for the number of vans the site can take, There are two loos & a shower room in a nice wee wooden Wendy house, & chemical disposal right next to the loos, a couple of fresh water taps on site, All this plus electric hook ups what more could you want. In fact the last time we were there April 19 we felt very privileged as at one point we were the only pitch on site making it even more peaceful. I might not be what everyone is looking for but for my wife & i who are ex wild tent campers its brilliant.

Easter Weekend

We have just come back from our visit to this Site but due to the weather have had to cut our stay short. As always we researched this Site, viewed the pictures and read reviews. What can we say? The pictures are definitely out of date as they do not show the true state as it is now. Granted it is still winter or early spring but there does not seem to have been any TLC for some time spent on the site itself which is a pity. The shower cabin is seriously neglected. In the shower room the shower screen could do with a treatment of mold and mildew on it, the hand towel has definitely seen better days and we have not seen this changed during our stay, my suggestion for hygiene purposes would be to install a hand dryer in that room and the other toilet. Also there is a cracked seat in the shower room which is dangerous and should be replaced. We did not see the cabin cleaned at all during our visit and, although we have on board facilities, we still booked on the basis there were facilities should we have needed them. Such a pity not been able to give a good review in the light of our initial research and pictures. Disappointing and unfortunately will not be returning as there are other competitive Sites nearby.

Great site.

Ideal site for visiting Blackpool and the surrounding areas. The owner is very nice and welcoming and the site itself is very peaceful and well kept. We will be returning next year.
