Why stay here ...

Probably one of the best sites to be located adjacent to the M6 Motorway in the North West, with easy access from the services both north and southbound only 2 minutes away. Ideally situated for a one night comfort break whilst travelling the length of the country (drive safely, don't drive tired). These services offer you all your requirements including Burger King, M&S, Costa Coffee, WH Smith etc and now 24 hour fuel at competitive prices.

Having stunning views of the rolling hills of the Trough of Bowland together with a distance sea view in the opposite direction. Our well kept grass surface is serviced by both a fresh and grey water tap together with waste disposal for your cassette toilet. Waste bins are also on site.

Within a 2 mile radius are several very good restaurants and pubs and also the popular market town of Garstand within five miles offering all the usual facilities. Several local takeaways also deliver to us. Fishing is plentiful in the area and also recreation areas for children. We will shorly be increasing our on site facilities and will keep you informed.

The Boardman family look forward to seeing you shortly.

No thank you

White Carr Farm
Of all the CLs I have stayed at - and there are a lot - this rates as the very worst. Starting with positives - easy to access from the M6, motorway services next door, level pitches. Advertised as £10 per night but cost me £20. “We charge for this that and the other!” No wonder the site was empty. Slowest tap on record, overflowing rubbish bins, very long grass, incessant noise from the M6. Otherwise blissful! One for me never to return to! Make your own mind up though.

Great stop to break up a long journey north

White Carr Farm
Tom and John could not have been more helpful. We had a tricky journey up due to Motorway closure we arrived much later than planned and tired. Tom was great and gave great directions so we could just pitch up and get to bed. Despite its closeness to the M6 we found it remarkably peaceful. All the facilities you need for an overnight stop. Have added site to my contacts I think this could become a regular halfway stop for us on our trips to Scotland.

Very convenient for stop over

White Carr Farm
We booked this as an overnight break during a very long journey from Devon. We were cordially greeted by Tom and pitched up on an extremely level hard standing in a very large mown field. Excellent facilities - electricity is now available for £16 a night. We walked through to the services to shop in M & S and refuelled in the morning before setting off again. Slightly confusing directions from the south - you need to turn right out of the services before first left onto White Carr Lane. We would certainly stay here again and thoroughly recommend it as a stop over.

A great stop over!

White Carr Farm
We stayed on this newly opened site in mid April. It is in an excellent location for exploring the Lancaster area with fine views and good flat pitches. A great advantage is it’s location to the M6 motorway with access through the services, perfect for breaking a journey north or south on the M6. There is easy access to the site, and well located water and waste disposal facilities.Although close to the motorway we both enjoyed a good nights sleep with low noise levels. Good pubs for food nearby and even a Burger King and M&S on the services, all in all a perfect stop. Good luck to John and Tom our hosts with this new venture. David and Judith

White Carr

White Carr Farm
We stayed at White Carr for one night on the 1st May 2021, the site is accessible via Lancaster Services (Forton) and the site just a few hundred yards away. We were met by John who was excellent and Made us at home straight away. The site itself is very accessible, Private and well tended with a handful of Hardstanding pitches as well as lots of grassed areas, these are also very level and easy to park upon. Facilities? Electric hook up (book) Toilet waste disposal Rubbish disposal plastic/paper/general Fresh water Dogs welcome I understand this Is a new site and We would recommend it highly, you can physically access/walk Lancaster services through a private gateway if you wish, and there are some nice walks if that’s your thing. The only downside dependent how light a sleeper you may be is that there is some noise from the motorway but it wasnt a big deal (to us) and coupled with vary reasonable charges, what’s not to like! Best of luck John 👍 Steve
