Over booked

Danny's Paddock
Arrived on time and there were already 5 vans on, rang the owner who said there shouldn't be 5 vans on and had to wait a short while for him to come as he was out. Apparently he'd told another van they could stay an extra night and offered US a non pitch for one night instead of telling them to move! He got a bit stroppy and a few words were exchanged and he ended up saying he didn't care if we stayed or not and stormed off. We were made to feel WE were in the wrong. We did stay on the '6th' pitch for a night then moved to the proper pitch, we'd already booked a table at the pub for a special occasion, otherwise we'd have moved on. Because of this we wouldn't stay again.

Perfect Outlook

Danny's Paddock
Tranquillity so peaceful outlook over paddocks. Very large site able to pitch caravan how you like,Very trustworthy owner who we didn't see while we was there cheque left in letter box. This is a working farm so few pot holes to site also farm machinery & vehicles moving about didn't spoil our stay.Ludham is a very pretty place Kings Arms serve lovely meals, Butchers Spar shop & garage. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely place

Danny's Paddock
Although we only stayed here for 1 night it was really pleasant, quiet easy to get in and set up, lovely views and plenty of room. A short walk to the broads and Ludham village where you will find a lovely little tea room and a nice pub. we will definatley be back.

A lovely spacious site, somewhat spoiled by the state of the drive.

Danny's Paddock

A very nice spacious site, views over open fields, and easy access off the main road, which does give some road noise at busy times. The downside to this otherwise pleasant site is the condition of the farm track between the main road and the paddock that the CL is in.  I know we have suffered a very wet spring, but the pot holes in this track are deep and many, and need serious attention to make the roadsurface a more pleasent experiance to travel over, and without the risk of damage to the veichles involved.  We would love to visit again sometime in the future, but only if the approach track has been repaired and improved.
