Peaceful site surrounded by woodland, meadows and fields. We welcome well behaved dogs and are an adult only site. We have plenty of space for awnings.
Situated close to the Norfolk Broads and only ten minutes from Norwich which can be accessed by buses which stop by our driveway.
The Norfolk Broads offer opportunities for boat trips, bird watching and walking.
Norwich, only 4 miles away, is a historical city with excellent shopping offering a daily market, two shopping malls and many independent shops and restaurants. It has two cathedrals, Castle museum plus other smaller museums. The Forum in central Norwich houses the Tourist Information, there are walking tours as well as an open top bus tour in season.
The nearby Riverside area of Norwich offers a multitude of shops including Morrisons, cinema, bowling and restaurants including Wetherspoons and Nandos.
For those who enjoy waterside pubs and gentle strolls, the riverside village of Bramerton is home to The Waters Edge, a recently refurbished pub offering food and drinks with lovely views of boats passing by. A little further along the river in Surlingham, you'll find Surlingham Ferry and Coldham Hall, both serving food throughout the day and popular with walkers and cyclists.
The next village Rockland St Mary has access to Wherryman’s Way which offers a lovely walk for birdwatchers and walkers. This village also has the nearest post office and general store.
For days out, the local bus network from Norwich connects easily to the rest of Norfolk. By car, the Norfolk and Suffolks coast are within reach, with Southwold and Dunwich Heath (a National Trust nature reserve with beach and heathland walks) around 30 miles away. Great Yarmouth is approximately 20 miles.
