Bure Valley Railway
Norfolk's narrow-gauge steam railway to the Norfolk Broads with combined train and cruise tours available.
View and BookFrom sandy shores and boating on The Broads to historic houses and dainty tearooms, Bellevue Quiet Site is in prime position for getting your chill mode on with the Norfolk coast one mile away, Norwich 20 minutes’ drive away and The Broads 25 minutes’ drive away.
Those of you with junior travellers in tow shouldn’t have to worry too much about finding somewhere close by for kids to let off steam, as there’s a playground on site and a central family picnic area.
As for offsite, there’s plenty of play space down at the beach, whether you head to the closest bay half an hour’s walk away or seek out Sea Palling’s longer shoreline 15 minutes’ drive away.
With well-maintained facilities, water and wifi (and pets welcome on site) you should find this a pretty convenient place to set down roots for a while. Handily, the site offers awning and pup tent facilities for no extra cost too.
Already got a shopping list to tick off? That’s no problem here, as the site is 25 minutes’ walk away from the village shop, and there are bigger towns within five miles of the site. The site’s local pub is even closer, so you could have your hands wrapped around a drink after 10 minutes’ walk (or there are other pubs within walking distance of the site, down by the sea for those of you who fancy scoring yourselves some sea views).

This is a great little site. Yes, it’s next to a road but so are most of the campsites I’ve visited that you can easily get a caravan on to! We were barely disturbed by the road to be honest. The toilets and showers are basic but clean. I love that the toilets use hand washing water to help refill for the next flush for water saving purposes. There are two shower rooms and one was large enough to allow us to shower the kids easily. There is a field next to the campsite for walking the dog. The owners were away in their own motorhome when we visited so we didn’t meet them personally but they sent us a lovely email before we arrived to let us know the code for the toilet block, wifi password, let us know they owned the field next to the campsite and we could walk the dog on it, and lots of useful information like the location of the nearest shops, pubs and places to eat. It directed us to the amazing fish and chip shop opposite the beach in Walcott which is a couple of minutes away in the car (walkable too, possibly calling at the pub on the way back, but we had hungry children!) Wifi connections was great and included in the price. We used the site as a base to visit Cromer and Great Yarmouth but want to explore some of the smaller places and beaches so we will definitely go back many more times!
